ELF Undereye Setting Powder Review

After hearing some reviews from some of my favourite YouTuber's, I decided I really wanted to get my hands on this product. But having a very small ELF supply in my local Kmart, I thought my chances of finding it were pretty slim. Until one day, and I saw it in the corner of my eye and without a doubt, I grabbed it and bought it.

Well thats my story thanks for reading kbye.

Oh my review?

Well lets start off with the actual powder.

It has some very fine glitter reflects in it, but once applied to the undereye area it basically is invisible and you can't notice it.

It comes with a pretty good amount of product in it. I've had this since....beginning of Autumn this year-ish? and I'm only starting to run low on it.

And the best part about it is that it doesn't cause any creasing during the daytime.

The only thing I can say is not needed with the product, is the bloody applicator. Its half the size of a concealer brush. How the hell am I supposed to cover my under eye area with that. Its useless and it doesn't need to be included.

So, overall for this ELF product I would possibly repurchase, though I think for here in Australia it is overpriced and I'm thinking of trying a translucent powder under my eyes next time.

Empties #2

Time for another 'shit I'm throwing out' post. Just incase any of you were curious as to what I am throwing in my bin this week.

First item thats going in the bin is my old eyelash curler that I just bought at Daiso. Nothing too special about it. I have naturally curled lashes so I don't often use my curler too regularly and this was just getting old and I need a replacement.

All of these lipsticks either make my teeth more yellow than they are, or have no colour pay off and thats the reason why I am throwing them out.

I've had this for about a year and its just gone rock hard. As you can see in the picture you can see where I've forced my nail into it. Into the bin eyeliner.

I got this about 2 months ago to do one job, sharpen the pencils. It broke one cause its just not a very smooth operating sharpener.

Finally onto products I've actually used. I used this Moisturizing Day Cream by Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula and one it smelt delightful and two it left my skin feeling so good.

I had a love hate relationship with this mascara as you can read from my review here. The top lash mascara was difficult to use, and the lower lash mascara was easier to use. It has started to go clumpy so I'm throwing it out.

I am in love with this mascara. Its hands down one of my favourites by Essence just behind the (Big Lash Effect?) You can read my review on it here.

This product came in my first ever bellabox and to be honest...I tried using it but I'm just not feeling it. It tastes like crap and the colour just isn't pink enough. Its too red.

These are my Holy Grail wipes. I buy them all the time and will most likely buy them again. (Unless WotNot is cheaper....)

I was sorting through my drawers one day and found this, I had honestly forgot I had it. These wipes are fantastic, and - actually I did a review on them, here ya go

So there! Thats all the junk I'm throwing in the bin.

Elf Brushes Review

Hey So,

These brushes are some I've been using for quite a while now, and I can honestly say that I love them.

These brushes are ever so soft and the blending brushes blend so easily that you almost forget that you're blending.

The Eyeshadow brush is so presice that it makes packing on eyeshadow a total breeze.

The brushes are easy to clean, and easy to pack product onto.

I'm definatley going to keep buying more of these brushes and reccomend them to anyone who considers buying them.

5/5 stars!

Keep Smiling,

Makeup Changes In Kmart?!

Hey Beauties,

So some exciting news was announced the other day, I specifically heard this from Miss Mancells Makeup's instagram account and I was very excited.

The news is that the very well known, highly raved about, drugstore makeup brand 'E.L.F' (Or Eyes Lips Face) will be launching in Kmart stores Australia wide from 22nd February 2014.

Like NYX is in Target, it will first be hitting the bigger Kmart stores Australia wide.

I was just doing some research and apparently ELF was stocked in Kmart some years ago? But to be honest I don't remember this at all. Probably because my local Kmart's makeup section is complete shit.

Is anyone else's makeup section at Kmart a complete pigsty? Cause all the Kmarts near me are. Seriously it disgusts me to the point I don't want to swatch anything, and I don't even bother looking.

But that brings me to my next point - Packaging in Kmart.

Kmart (So I have heard from a friend who asked an employee) will no longer be stocking Revlon. All the other makeup brand will be wrapped in packages like this;

Review Coming on this soon!
The only reason they are being packaged like this is because in a nutshell Kmart is sick and tired of people ripping open sealed products, using them, and leaving them there. And that people make a massive mess of the makeup too.

I just found this on their Facebook page, so I thought I would paste it here:

we will be carrying ELF cosmetics as well as Maybelline, Rimmel, Covergirl, Sally Hansen, Australis, BYS, Face of Australia, Starlet, LOL & Kmart branded cosmetics for face, eyes, lips and nails

As far as price goes, I am unaware of how much it will be. It will not be as cheap as the US though, unfortunately. I'm guessing that the pricing will be somewhat similar to the Essence range. Overall, I know it won't be as expensive as Revlon is, so I will be happy to purchase anything from them.

Do you know anything that I haven't mentioned in this post?

What do you want to get from ELF?

Update - Sydney ? Store has it in stock

Keep Smiling,
