Bellabox August 2015 Review

Its that time of the month again!

And my box actually arrived on time, this time. So happy.

Just a quick, well its not a disclaimer but it sorta is. While writing this and the next 2 post for this week, I have got severe food poisoning. I think the chicken pie I ate had raw chicken in it and now I just feel like utter crap. But yay for Imodium and Panadol! So if I seem out of sorts in the next few posts, I'm just not feeling too great. Hence also the very crappy photos. I just about killed me taking them. Well not really but having a headache doesnt help.

But lets get on with the goodies!

DermaSukin Oil Balancing Wash
I love this product alot - in saying that I haven't tried it but I love what it claims to do/be. I use Cetaphil Daily Cleanser (I think thats the name) whenever I take a shower and thats basically what this product is. It claims not to be drying too and to remove excess oil. Review will for sure be coming for this.
Full Size RRP: $8.95 Available at Priceline

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Pads
At first I had no idea what these where. Where they for your nipples? What were they for. There are so many long words on the packaging that I just looked at and though "What the hell does that mean?" Which made it 10x more confusing. But. After a bit of research it turns out that these are just some toner pads. Like, WHY NOT JUST SAY THAT. *Insert frustrated emoji here*
I got the 5 pack.
The 60 Pack Retails for $29.95 and is available from Target.

Pilaten Collagen Lip Mask
Apparently this is a trend in Asia and as a beauty blogger I haven't heard too much about it to be quite honest. The first I heard about it was through Shaaanxo's Vlog channel where she tried it, and according to her, she felt no reaction. I might try it tonight as I have dry lips from being dehydrated and see if it works but to be honest, my hopes aren't that high.
RRP: $4.95 each or 3 for $10.00 - Available on the bellabox website.

Max Factor Masterpiece Max Mascara.
A Full size mascara! Yay! This is the first time I've ever got any mascara in a bellabox - apart from the clear brow gel by ABH. But that was only a sample. I haven't tried much from Max Factor but I'm thinking when Priceline has their 40% off Cosmetics sale I will buy some things to try. I DONT KNOW WHEN THAT IS BUT IT SHOULD BE SOON!
Full Size: $23.95 Available at Priceline and Target

Heel Balm Platinum
Why did I get this as a bonus product? I think its pretty crap. I never wrote down in my bellabox bio I have bad feet. My feet are actually incredibly smooth. But whatever I'm over it. I just feel its a waste of a product as I'll never use it.

ChapStick Night Repair
Do I need another lip balm? No, not really. But its pretty cool to get a ChapStick in the box as I do find them rather expensive and I don't normally buy them for myself.
Full Size: $6.99 Available at Priceline

BellaBox March Unboxing

Hey Beauties,

So I awoke this morning to my BellaBox, and first thing I realised is that is was here, reasonably early. I got my tracking number last Thursday (Or Friday, Can't remember which one) and on most occasions it takes 4-5 working days for it to arrive. So for it to arrive today was pretty early. 3 working days, I'm happy with that, considering it comes from Melbourne!

Second thing I noticed, the new box packaging! Isn't it so adorable?! I love it! Its sturdy like the old boxes, so I will for sure be re-using this somehow, and I will probably decorate it too, maybe. But its got the signiture Bellabox, Tiffany Blue colour (No they are not ripping them off) along with the brand new 'bb' logo, surrounded by dots. This design is only on the lid, the other part of the box is just blue. I love it!

Now for what came inside this months box...
St Tropez Med/Dark Gradual Tan Lotion. Sample:
I've heard Shaaanxo rave about how good St Tropez (Pronounced Tro-Pay) is, and I'm pretty keen to use this. However, I do not tan, I personally don't like it, and I'm quite happy being a pale person. I do however use a makeup body cover-up to cover my stretchmarks, so I may use this one day instead of that? I don't know. But this sample is only good enough for one use in my opinion as it isn't very big. The retail price for any St Tropez product is pretty pricey, but if you are one for tanning then I'd highly suggest getting it because Shannon looks great with her tan.

Natralus Paw Paw Pure Gel - Sample:
I'm interested in using this as it says it smoothes damaged skin, and I just wonder if it can be used on stretchmarks. I'll give it a go, but I know I won't notice any difference as I have a large variety of stretchmarks and this small package probably won't cover my entire area.

Dermalogica Clear Start Breakout Clearer - Sample:
I love getting Dermalogica or Bioderma products in my box, and this one I will certainly use. I don't know when though, as my Mum just purchased me some Benzac AC today and I kinda want to use that first. But I might use this of the morning before I apply my makeup?

WotNot Facial Wipes for Oily/Combination Skin - Sample:
I got some of these wipes a few boxes back and I LOVED them. So I was so happy to get some more. So I will for sure be using these!

Pantene Aqua Light Shampoo/Conditioner - Samples:
Eh. My hair has been hating me lately. I have a dry scalp. A very dry scalp. This range of products is made for people with FINE hair. And hair that doesn't need MUCH PRODUCT. So I will not be using this. This is going into my 'Endless Stock Of Hair Products' Drawer.

Model Co. Creamy Matte Lipstick - Full Size:
I've forgotten the name of this product already, but its a gorgeous coral, red toned lipstick. It is really stunning, but unfortunatley it is not for me. I do not see myself wearing this, reds and corals aren't my colour of lip choice, I hardly wear them. But my Mum loves it so I gave it to her.

So that was everything in this months box. Overall it was -okay-. Not great just okay. There was nothing in here that wowed me apart from the wipes.

Did you get anything different in your bellabox?

*Bellabox did not pay, or ask me to do this review. All opinions are 100% honest*

Bellabox January 2014

Hey Beauties,

To be honest, I was really not excited to be receiving my bellabox this month, as the past few boxes...honestly have been quite shit and repetitive, and after seeing Sarah and Kat's review on this months box, I was like, 'Seriously?'

Okay let me explain quickly. I don't dislike this box, I quite like it, I'm just sick and tired of seeing these brands in beauty boxes. I subscribed for one reason. To try out new brands. Avene has been in sooo many bloody boxes recently and Model Co has been in waaaaayy too many beauty boxes over the past 3-4 months and I'm sick and tired of seeing them.

Model Co Fat Lash Volumising Mascara RRP: $20.00:
This stuff stinks. Of. Alcohol. Like pure vodka. I'm not looking forward to using this 1 because of the smell, 2 - I just really freaking hate Model Co. Its a crappy cheap ass brand and the quality is crap, I just don't personally like it. On the positive side I like the brush.

Avene Soothing Moisture Mask & Rich Hydrating Cream:
I will not be using the cream as it is made specifically for those with sensitive skin/dry skin and I'm neither of those. I have very oily skin, so its already been decided that I'll be giving this to my mother. However, I am looking forward to trying the mask. I bought quite a few masks yesterday :3

(Sample) Palmolive Ayurituel Joyous Shower Gel:
This stuff, smells amazing. Like seriously, if it works wonders too, I will probably buy the full size cause it just has an amazing sweet scent, thats not overly too sweet.

Yes To Carrots C Me Shine Lip Gloss in Rose Bliss RRP: $14.95:
I hate squeezy tubes like this, I can't stand them, I don't know why but I just don't prefer to use them. I haven't actually tried anything by the Yes To range, and I didn't actually know they had makeup, I thought it was only skincare, but I guess I was wrong! This would be lovely to pair with a nude lip.

Coconut Revolution - Coconut Body Cream:
I've really been into body cream/butter/moisturizers lately so I will be getting alot of use out of this.

BONUS: WotNot Facial Wipes:
I find it funny that I bought wipes earlier on today, to come home to find some in my bellabox! I haven't used these wipes before or anything from this brand but I have heard of them. I'll be using these pretty soon.

Overall I thought this box was great, just sick and tired of seeing the same brand.

Keep Smiling,

xobrontie

December Bellabox!

Hey Beauties,

I received my December Bellabox early this morning and I thought I'd share my contents with you all, seeing as I got something alot different from everyone else's box.

Official 'Bellabox' Tote Bag - RRP; $19.95
Yes you read that right, $19.95 for this small baby. I don't understand why it is so expensive when you can just go to coles and buy a tote from there for $1.99, so to me, the price is a bit of a rip off. Apart from that I love the bag. Its perfect for when I go shopping and it has a colourful Chevron print on it.

Simple Kind To Eyes, Eye Makeup Remover - Sample Size
I haven't tried many things by Simple, but I am not a fan of their infamous makeup wipes. I'm curious to see how these work. I just need to get some cotton rounds before I use it. I might do a possible review on this.

Romy Hand And Nail Cream - RRP; $33.50
I've really been into hand creams as of late and I've never heard, or tried anything from this brand before. I'm excited to use this, but I have to finish up all my other hand creams first!

Eslor Sample Pack
This sample pack came with 4 little goodies inside of it, including a Comforting Mask, Replenishing Scrub, Soothing Cream and a Soothing Refiner and Cleanser. I'm looking forward to using these.

Limited Edition Mary Kay Fluid Eye Colour - RRP; $20.00
I actually don't own anything by Mary Kay so I was quite suprised to have received this. I think I will probably use it as a base colour, as its quite similar to Maybelline's Barely Branded. The shade I got was called Pearl, although it doesn't seem Pearly.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Daily Cleansing Gel
I'm currently using a stretchmark cream by this brand and I am loving it so I'm pretty keen to use these Daily Cleansing Gels.

Avene Cleanance K (Moisturiser)
I was thinking earlier on today that I needed a moisturiser so I was glad I got one in my box.

Kosmea Skin Clinic Rescue Balm
This balm states it works for numerous things, including stretchmarks. So I will certainly be using this on my marks.

That was all I received in my Bellabox this month. Although I didn't receive the Benefit Porefessional like alot of other subscribers did (I was very sad about not getting it!) I quite liked my box.

Keep smiling,

xobrontie

bellabox in no way has paid or asked me to review this box. I paid for this box with my own money and the review is my 100% own opinion.

October Bellabox

Hey Beautys,

Today is a review on the items I got in my Bellabox for October.

This month was BB's second birthday so we were meant to get some amazing items in our box.

If I had to be honest. I hated my box. I will only be using 3 things out of the entire box, the rest goes to donation. It wasn't worth $15, let alone $5. Let me get into why....

Alfaparf Semi Di Lino Diamond Shampoo and Conditioner - Okay so its shampoo and conditioner right? What I dislike is that it is for Normal hair. My hair is no where near Normal. I have an extremely itchy and dry scalp thats flaky all year round. So this is no use for me and I'll be using as a 'If needed' backup. So I really disliked this.

Jacqueline Burchell Nail Laquer Duo - These shades, Call Me Sexy and PHD In Retail are gorgeous. Call Me Sexy is a golden polish with red sequins in it, I imagine it looking amazing over a black nail polish, and PHD in Retail is a hot chocolate sequiny textured brown. Its hard to describe. These I both loved, and they are the perfect size.

Sample of Maybelline's Dream Pure BB Cream - I recieved a full size of this 2 months ago from BB. And I haven't used it yet. So to me this 'extra' was a bit of a 'Oh we have some spares lets get rid of them' kind of thing. And the writing, is in another language too. So i dont know whats up with that.

Loccitane Shea Butter Hand Cream - This hand cream is for dry skin, I don't have dry skin, my mother does, and I don't use hand cream - rarely.

Sample of Beyonce's Heat - I smelt this, and I'm not a fan of the smell. To me perfumes shouldn't be in beauty boxes because everyone likes the smell of different things.

Bioderma Sebium Exfoliating Gel - I will certainly be using this. I love anything like this so I can't wait to try this out.

So thats it for this very opinionated post.

Hope you enjoyed.

Do you subscribe to any beauty box? What is your opinion on them?

Until next time, keep smiling.

Bellabox September

Hey Everyone

It finally arrived! My September Bellabox. I've been waiting for the past week for it to arrive because I knew it was going to be fabulous, and guess what, I was right!

This box came with so many goodies that I will be certainly using, as well as a bonus gift.

Before I get into the review. I want to state that Bellabox and the following brands are Not paying me to review them. This is my honest opinions, always have been, always will be. I paid for these product with my own money. The total of a Bellabox subscription is $15 a month with free shipping.

First of all is the face mask. This face mask is the Montagne Jeunsse Blemish Mud Masque. I recieved the sample pack which is 5g. The full size which is 10g is only $3.99 at Priceline, Big W, Target and selected pharmacys. I have another product by this brand, but as of this stage, I have not tried it. But I will be soon as I was just thinking a few days ago, I wanted to use a mud mask. Also, is it me or is the woman on the packaging just scary! And another thing, please excuse my nails!!

The Elegant Touch Envy Wraps are seriously amazing. I'm going out with friends this week and I am considering using these, but I already had my outfit planned so now I'm confused as to what to do. I will be doing a post on my evening look that night anyway, so we shall soon see. But these nails stickers are a full size pack, costing $8.99 at Priceline, the design is so elegant. It has yellow, purple, green and pink polka dots with a tiny diamante on each....er...nail? I love anything to do with nails so these will certainly come in handy.

Of course, every girl needs a razor. This is the Schick Hydro Silk Razor, and as you can see from the picture it is 1 razor and cartridge. This would originally cost $9.99. I am just about finished with my other razor blades so this is perfect for me to replace my old one with.

Manicare's Glam Eyes False Eyelashes are what I was most excited about. The packet is normally worth $11.95 and I would never buy false eyelashes for that price. I have never used false eyelashes in my life, but this Thursday I am keen to try them....it will probably include failing as well. The eyelashes are 'Kelly' style and they cross over each other. Perfect amount of flare. So excited for these

Footcare Gel Ball of Foot Cushions. Now these will come in handy for me, at some point. I rarely ever wear heels, and when I do, i need something like these. This is worth $8.99

Now I don't tan, when I tan I become an orange. This is because I am extremely pale. This product is Garnier's Ambre Solaire Natural Bronzer Spray. This is the full size bottle and costs $14.95. I won't be using this, however, my mother is very excited to.

ASAP is a brand I have never heard of before. But they must be good if they are expensive. This is an eyeliner in the shade brown. It retails at $20.00 and that just suprises me. I will certainly be using this.

As a bonus gift this month, all subscribers were sent the newest issue of Cleo Magazine. I haven't read it yet, but I am really looking forward to it. The issue has Emma Watson on the cover and has some samples of Revlon's Nearly Naked Foundation on the inside which I can't wait to try. The magazine is worth $6.95

When you add all the prices up, this box has a total of $81.82 products. This is the best Bellabox I have received as of yet. I cannot wait to use all the products and read the magazine.

Thats it for this post. Keep an eye out for my next one which is a review on the Chi Chi Nudes Palette.

Until then, Keep smiling.

xx Brontie
