Maybelline Dream Wonder Foundation Review

This foundation really made me curious about it when I first saw it, and I tried it and heres what I thought!

This foundation is made with sunscreen (I'm not sure how much) so its perfect for summer. Thats the only positive.

The foundation is so thin, it barely covers anything. Its also really oily.

After the first day of wearing it, it completley broke me out. Especially on the forehead where I rarely break out.

This is the strange part. It made my skin dry. I have oily/combination skin and it dried me out.

Would I repurchase?

Nope. I threw it in the bin. I don't even want to think about it.

Mac Soft Ochre Paint Pot Review

This was my first MAC Purchase I made about...2 months ago and it is one that I do not regret.

Soft Ochre is a yellow toned paint pot, or an eyeshadow base (you can use it on its own, I just use it as a base.) And as a base, its FANTASTIC. It makes your shadows stay all day, no matter what quality the shadow is. I've used Essence Shadows and they stayed. Chi Chi Shadows, Urban Decay, Australis, they've all stayed. No creasing or anything.

It comes in a 5g jar, which in my opinion is a pretty damn good amount for what your paying for ($35 - I mean thats good)

Have I used it on its own? No not yet, I'll try that tomorrow and edit this again and put my thoughts below.

Would I repurchase?

Yes, Yes, 1000x's YES. I love it and its something I would definatley grab again when I run out.

Rimmel Apocalips Review

I tried this product out a few months ago and never got around to reviewing it. I just found my review in my 'review book' and decided to, well, review it for you guys

The Rimmel Apocalips claims to be a Matte Lip Cream (Or Lip Velvet as it states on the packaging), and I'd say it definately isn't a completley matte finish, I'd say its more of a Satin finish, but drier.

Like most matte lip creams, it has a doe foot applicator, its kind of bent a bit though in the centre (Like the Jeffree Star Velour Lip Creams Applicator) and I think that makes the application much easier.

The pigmentation of this lip cream is pretty opaque. I quite like it. I've got mine in the shade Atomic Rose (I think. Not 100% Sure)

The scent of this lip cream compared to others is horrible. I can't even remember what it smells like as I didn't describe it in my book, and I'm too lazy to get up and get it.

My opinion:

Its a pretty good matte lip cream. Best drugstore one I've found on the market so far, but I'm yet to try the Maybelline ones. I want to try the Nyx Suede Lip Creams but they cost a fortune off Ebay.

Lust Have It! November Review

This months package didn't take as long as last months, which I was happy about. This months also came with a card sheet stating what is full size, deluxe sized and so on. Which I was also happy about. Lets get into what came inside.

Carefree Ultra Thins 2 Pack
I've stated this, and I'll state it again, I don't often get my period. But its always good to have some lying around in case.

Ulta3 Cream Blush Stick in Pretty Pink

I've never really used a cream blush, only the one that I have from ColourPop, but this one seems easier to blend.

Full Size RRP: $6.95

Manna Kadar Lip Chubbie in Cupid

I threw out most of my lip chubbies about a year ago and I kinda miss them, but they are hard to find now. So I'm happy I got this one and its a gorgeous shade. I see myself using it alot in summer.

Full Size RRP: $24

Coral Colours Love Lips in Coconut Ice

I really don't need anymore lip balms, I have way too many.

Full Size RRP:6.99

Garnier Miracle Day Cream Sample

I have way too many moisturisers to use, so I'm giving this to my Mum.

Evelyn Iona Concealer

This may be a tad too dark for me but I'm yet to use it yet, but if it is I'll just pass it onto my Mum.

ColourPop Shadows Review

ColourPop shadows are something I have tried this year and have fallen in love with. I have a huge collection of them and I'm wanting more.

ColourPop are an LA Based Brand that are Cruelty free and Made in LA.

Their well known for their amazing, crazy feeling shadows, known as the Super Shock Shadows. They are eyeshadows that are cream to powder finish and all in all they are just unique. Its very hard to describe what they feel like, wet almost?

They are super pigmented, you don't even need a base. They also last all day which is great.

They come in a variety of colours and formulas, and here I have shown you 4

Rebel (Green, No longer available. LE Shaaanxo Collection): Matte Formula.

Deluxe (Shimmery Brown, also from Shaaanxo Collab): Pearlized

Get Lucky (Gold): Ultra Metallic (My favourite)

Bae (Purple/Blue/Brown): Metallic

These shadows are super cheap at $5 each, and for postage they go on weight. I've ordered 5 things before and it only cost me $8/$10

I highly recommend ColourPop and I will have collection posts coming up in the next month.

Chi Chi Viva La Diva Lipsticks Review

Today I will be reviewing the first product in my mini-series which is dedicated to things I would suggest buying others for christmas, which funnily enough, I haven't done reviews on any of these.

The first product, is Chi Chi Lipsticks. I bought them in this set pack which is part of Chi Chi's Christmas gift sets. It retails for $38 which is great value as each lipstick retails at $18.95. And it comes in this pack which is the nudes, 2 other boxes but I'm not quite sure as to what they are and they are not on the website.

These lipsticks are slightly scented but I find it lovely. It's a gorgeous musky scent and I think they smell better than Mac.

These products are NOT tested on animals as the staff at Chi Chi are all animal loving people and if you follow their instagram, you can just tell that they are.

All lipsticks can be bought individually.

The lipstick swatches are as follows: Checkin In, Sex Bomb, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Game On

November Favourites 2015

Real-U Control + Face Gel
This stuff is amazing. And I need more. I used it up. Got rid of my redness and most of my pores
Real-U Remove Spot Treatment
This is probably the best spot treatment I have found to date. Pores are probably gone in 2-3 days which is amazing.
Benefit Total Moisture
Just with using these products all together, my face has been perfect (Except for now. I've got some zits, through stress I think though)

Benefit Porefessional
Used this in the past - loved it. Used it again - Loved it. Favourite primer ever.
Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous
I fell out of love with this foundation a while ago, and I've just fallen back in love with it again.
Rimmel Stay Matte
I didn't really like this powder when I first got it, but I kinda like it.

Australis Palettes (New ones)
Love these both and have been using them frequently.

Makeup Revolution Mattes 2
Probably my most used palette all month

Mac Mehr Lipstick
Not gonna say much as full review coming soon, but AH MI GAWD LOVE

Lust Have It! October

This is it! My first Lust Have It! Unboxing and I must say I am very impressed with it. So lets get right into it!

The Cosmetic Kitchen Peppermint Foot Mask
Eh. To be honest, this is the product i will probably not use out of the whole set. Mainly cause I need Coconut Oil to use it and, that doesn't come cheap. So I might put this aside for swaps etc. Cruelty Free and Vegan. Made in AUS

Retails for: $14.95

Hair&Me Hair Rejuvenation Treatment
I've been wanting to try one of these for a while and was considering buying one from NKD  but now I don't have to! I hope it works as I have dry itchy scalp and not many things work. But I'm willing to give it a go! 100% Aussie Made and Cruelty Free.

Retails for: $19.95

Bioderma Soothing Cream
Eh. Nothing too exciting. I have so much Bioderma products I have tried so its nothing new. But I will use it.

Lust Have It's Own Highlighter in Sunset Strobe
This is one thing I'm most excited for. I've been getting big on highlighters lately and I wanted a powder one and this one is perfect! Its gorgeous and kinda reminds me of Mary-Lou. This product is Made in Australia, Vegan Friendly, Cruelty Free and All Natural.

(Selling on Ebay for around $12)

Atkins Chocolate Coconut Bar
Eh. Not huge on coconut. But I may eat it. I'm not sure.

Ofra Lip Liner in Wine

I would've thought Wine would be a red colour, but whatever. I love this lipliner, already used it and its Ofra!

Katy Perry Mad Potion Perfume Review

This is my first perfume review so I'm so sorry if its not perfect. I have done research to find best ways to describe it. If you think I should do anything different, please let me know.

Katy Perry's latest Perfume 'Mad Potion' is a collaboration with Coty, and is apparently the first installment of a new perfume 'series' I guess you can say with Coty and to be honest, I'm kind of excited.

Mad Potion is described to be a 'Sexy Vanilla' with hints of Vanilla Orchid, Peony and Apricot Musk.

With smelling it right now, I can say it is definitely a vanilla based perfume with a sweet, fruity musk scent hiding behind it.

The bottle, it reminds me of a potion Alice drinks from in Alice in Wonderland. The bottle itself is a frosted light pink, and where the brand name is, it is slightly raised to look like, a medallion I think is the right word. The cap, or lid, whatever you'd like to call it, is a fuchsia pink with silver confetti like sparkles floating around in it.

The price of the bottles are as follows (Priceline Pricing) :
30ml - $39.00   50ml - $49.00   100ml - $69.00

Gift Set (Comes with 50ml Bottle, Shower Gel and Body Lotion.) - $49.00 (Great Deal in my opinion)

Katy Perry's Mad Potion has easily become my favourite perfume at the moment and I would certainly repurchase this in the future.

Priceline 40% Off Cosmetics Haul!

As a makeup lover, when this event happens at Priceline, I go nuts. And today was no exception. I had some money put aside for me for when this came around as there were a few products I was wanting to repurchase and a few products I just wanted to buy. So heres what I got!

Picked up the Australis Mini Velourlips. Some of these are for a giveaway (details at bottom of the post) and some are for myself. It just ended up being cheaper to buy in a set.

This is hands down my current favourite foundation. So I bought a backup. I'm in the shade Buff Beige.

I bought a backup of my favourite primer (Baby Skin by Maybelline) and repurcased my favourite mascara (Lash Sensational by Maybelline)

Normally I go crazy over Essence at these sales, but I held myself back and bought a backup mascara and the roses palette which is CRAZY pigmented.

I don't own many L'Oreal products (Only one other thing apart from this) But I think I'm going to slowly become a fan of them. This gold shadow is gorgeous and is so pigmented too. I don't actually have a gold shadow so thats why I bought this one.

Always have to pick up an Essie polish when they are on sale cause I'm not paying like $20 for a freaking nail polish, no way! But this is the cult classic, Bikini So Teeny and I'm so excited to use it.

LASTLY.

Australis Matte Bronze Eyed Girl and Those Shmokin' Eyes Palette Review

Australis have recently came out with 2 new palettes, the Matte Bronze Eyed Girl, which is a neutral palette and the Those Shmokin' Eyes Palette, which as you can guess is for a smokey eye. Both palettes are Exclusive to Big W and Kmart and can be bought off the Australis website here.

I did purchase these products during my no-buy as Australis is a cruelty free brand - And I quite like their products and always get excited with new releases.

Both palettes are the exact same size as the Contour Palette, but they come with a mirror. So they are great for travelling.

Lets start off with the Matte palette...

As you can probably already tell by the name of this palette, it is a fully matte palette. With no hints of glitter or anything. This palette really reminds me of the AC ON TOUR palette (review to come) as the shades can be quite similar, especially with the middle shade on the top row, that is very similar to the banana powder.

As for the shadows, they come off as a bit chalky, but its nothing too bad I've had worse. They are insanely creamy and easy to blend but do take a while to build up the product to become fully opaque. I have been using this palette quite a lot recently and it will be in my monthly favourites.

As for the smokey eyes palette, I think I prefer this over the mattes. mainly because you don't have to build up the opacity, only for the 3 (well 4, but no one builds up a nude colour until its the shade in the pan, lets be real) matte shades in the palette. But i think its easier to build with these shades for some reason.

This palette comes with 4 mattes and 2 shimmers. The shimmery shades don't have much fall out and they are very opaque, the photos shown were only done with one swatch.

I honestly prefer this palette out of the two.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder Review

After hearing tons of people rave about this product, I decided I'd jump on the band wagon and try this powder out.

To be honest at first I didn't see what all the hype was about. I mean, its just a powder, whats so good about it? But its actually quite a good powder.

Its a really lightweight powder which is good for day wear.

Its super buildable but it can become cakey if you apply too much.

It doesn't crease or fade during the day.

Its perfect for travelling and using in your handbag as you can add a powder sponge in the lid and you're pretty much good to go and it doesn't take up much room.

Would I repurchase? Maybe. I much prefer loose powders so it depends.

Maybelline Baby Skin Review

Its been a while since this product hit our shelves, and I know I have done a review on this but my opinions have changed. But after using it for a month straight, I'm ready to give you my full opinions on it.

This primer is a pore eraser, meaning it claims to fill in all your pores and make your skin appear poreless. And I must agree on this as it hides many pores of mine and makes my skin look flawless before applying my foundation.

It has no scent like most primers which is great.

It contains alot of product, compared to other Maybelline primers (There are only 2 primers on Australian shelves) - it contains 20ml

It doesn't make my foundation fade during the day, infact I think it helps the lasting power. And staying on the topic of foundation, it really does help the application of the foundation which is good.

Would I repurchase this? Yes I would I love this primer and think it is worth the money even though its like above $15

No more Bellabox

As of Thursday I have cancelled my subscription to Bellabox. I honestly don't think its worth the money when all you get are shit sized samples that 99% of the time don't suit your needs in the requirement form you fill out when you first register.

Like seriously mine says I have OILY SKIN, OILY HAIR and I generally get things which are the opposite, most of the time for dry skin.

And I don't know if they are just slack or don't give a shit about the profiles, but I think the profile is what defines the box. And makes your box unique.

Also, their customer service team CURRENTLY AS OF OCTOBER 2015 is, just crap

**EDIT THEY JUST EMAILED ME AN ITS ALMOST 5PM ON SUNDAY.

I sent them an email on Tuesday regarding the fact I hadn't recieved my Coastal Scents item, and the longest I have had to wait to hear back from them is usually 2 working days. Its been 4 and I haven't hear back from them and to be honest, I've given up hope!

I feel like I'm wasting my time on these boxes and (My d key is being real sticky so sorry if it doesnt appear.) not to mention money.

I can only think of 3 good things I've ever got from them in the past 3 years of being a member, and thats a magazine, a razor and a gorgeous lipstick from OMShe.

I am currently debating subscribing with Lust Have It. - Have any of you had any experience with them RECENTLY as I know in the past they have been total crap but have apparently improved their service, but they haven't improve customer service as I've been waiting 2 weeks to hear back from their affiliate manager (who has said yes to me being an affiliate, she just hasnt emailed me back) and as a beauty blogger, shit like this frustrates me.

So yeah. We'll see what happens.

Any other boxes I should try?

Swap with RokItShopIt!

Yes. I did another swap. This time with the lovely Trish from RokItShopIt from Instagram. You can view her blog here. Trisha was a pleasure to do a swap with and I'd gladly do another one for her. I feel like we were very similar in tastes with makeup and what not.

Soap and Glory Conditioner. Even thought I have a dry scalp, this conditioner is perfect for traveling. Its a great size and I'm sure the product is great too.

Rimmel Lip Pencil in 024 Red Diva. So excited to use this, its more of a darker red than the one red lip pencil I already own.

See this skull. Its a friggen lip balm. HOW CUTE. I love it. And it smells like coconuts.

So excited to use these. Hopefully putting them on after this post is uploaded.

A girl can never have too many Baby Lips, well, we can. But this one, I have used already and it is so hydrating. It is from the ElectroPop Collection in the shade Berry Bomb.

Got these 2 Glam by Manicare goodies. Some gorgeous fake nails and fake lashes. I'm not one for fake lashes but I'll give 'em a go.

Most excited for this. This collection isn't even out in Australia yet. This is in shade 20 and its a gorgeous silvery lilac.

This lip gloss glows in the dark. Pretty dope right. Why did I use the term dope? Probably cause I'm hungry.

Artiste Mirror. I actually needed this. My handbag mirror has almost broken and I needed a replacement.

Chi Chi's new 3 in 1 White Eye Pencil. This is basically a dupe for NYX Jumbo eye pencil which I love, so a review comparing the two will come shortly.

MORE FACE MASKS. YAY!

She also sent candy. Yummeh.
