Review: Garnier Clean Detox Cleanser

Hey Beauties,

I've recently tried out the Garnier Clean Detox Cleanser and I thought I'd give you my opinion on this particular prouduct. To see what I thought about it, keep reading.

What it claims to do:
The Garnier Clean Detox claims to remove dirt, oil and makeup for a healthy glow.

How it works:
Enriched with refreshing green mint and anti-oxidant vitamin E, CleanDetox Gentle Exfoliating Scrub’s exfoliating particles gently remove toxins and purify pores without drying the skin. Cleansed of impurities, skin feels fresher, recovers its natural radiance and breathes freely

How I use it:
I've applied this by firstly wetting my face as I would with other cleansers/exfoliators. I then apply a small amount to my face and massage it into my forehead, nose and chin. Once its massaged in nicely, I rinse it all off.

Feeling/Scent:
Smooth, Lemon Scented.

Do I think it works:
I didn't see any difference.

Overall:
I basically bought this product after reading 'healthy glow' and 'removes makeup and other impurities' and thats what made me want to buy this product because I hate that feeling on your skin after you remove your makeup, you know that tight feeling and it just feels gross? Yeah that. So I was so excited to use this product to hopefully get rid of that feeling. And I must say, within using it, it didn't feel moisterising at all, and its said to be an exfoliator and I couldn't see exfoliating beads or feel it exfoliating on my face, and when I removed it, my face still felt horrible. Although my pores seemed nice thats the only thing I could tell was different. I'm not too keen to use this product again, so for now, its just sitting in my draw of things to use up. I'm still in love with my Clean and Clear Cleanser (I think thats what I've got? Hehe)

Rating:
1.2/5

  1. I've tried this product and I REALLY dislike it!!! It's sitting in my drawer unloved and will only come out if I have nothing else. My skin felt tight and kind of 'squeaky?', it was gross. It even made my hands feel gross too.
