WTW: Christmassy Outfits
Hey Beauties,
Today in todays What to Wear post, I am throwing out some ideas of what you can wear on Christmas Day.
Now of course everyones outfits are going to change depending on weather, location, attire, etc. but this is simply what I would wear.
If you are new to my blog and don't know much about me, I live in Hobart, Tasmania, which is in Australia for those of you who are like "Where the fudge is that place" (Yes I have been asked that before) And Tasmanian weather, is not like the rest of Australia. Because we are closest to Antarctica, we tend to have more cool days than warm days. Its rare to have a day thats over 27c, and because of this I have a winter wardrobe (ONESIES ALL YEAR ROUND).
This year for Christmas, we are spending it down at my Nan's place and we have quite a fair few people coming, which I'm not prepared for cause I have bad social anxiety. So seeing as its a family get together, my outfit is going to be pretty comfortable, yet cute. But I am not showing you my outfit today! You have to wait until around/after Christmas to see what I'm wearing!
For the first outfit I put together I used a red dress which I received for my birthday 2 years ago, its from Kmart and it really reminds me of Annie's dress (The movie Annie). I paired it with a skinny white belt that came with something (Don't know what I got rid of it) I bought from Valley Girl forever ago, and this is optional, but I paired some gorgeous lace leggings that are from Country Road, I absolutley love these. I finished the outfit with some cute booties I got from Big W earlier on this year, they are stunning and comfortable, with studs at the back, and I completed it with a cute little bow ring from Target, and a Pearl necklace, unknown brand.
The main focus of the second outfit is the dress, I love this dress so much and I had to buy it when I found it in Salvos. I cannot think of the name of the brand at the top of the head though, I paired this with some red leggings from Bonds, and yes there is a stain on them (Nail polish remover.), to keep the shinyness of the top (well its velvet, but it still counts as shiny right?) I paired some shiny combat boots which I bought from Kmart a while back and I completed it with an outstanding skull necklace which was handmade.
So these are 2 outfit ideas. Of course as I stated before, your outfit will all depend on what you are doing on the day.
Keep smiling.

Op Shop Haul!
Hey Beauties,
So today I bring to you my very first fashion related post! I'm one who absolutley loves op-shopping (Or as you call it in America, Thrift Shopping) because I am one for bargains. I am real picky when I buy my clothes second hand, and I will NOT buy Underwear from there at all cause, its just gross to wear someones undies. I go second hand shopping about once or twice a month, so expect to see a haul like this every month at least.
The first top I got was this coral floral printed top with lace on the collar by Cotton On. Its in a size large but its still a bit too small for me. (I'm not the skinniest of people, but I am at a healthy weight for my height and age) I cannot remember the price of this as my Mum ripped the tags off before I got the chance to write it down.
I found this gorgeous Floral piece by Girl Express in the plus size section (I always find goodies there!) It's not a plus size item though as it is a size 16, a small size 16 may I mention. On the sleeves of the top, it is cut out into 6 parts, and thats what really caught my eye.
I certainly did not expect to stumble across this baby in Vinnies. I saw the front of it, which is all laced out and if you know me, I love lace I'm a sucker for it so that had me sold. Then when I saw the brand name I was suprised it was that brand and that it would actually fit me. The brand is Forever New, which has only opened up here in Tassie about a month or so ago and to me, the clothes in there are designed to fit smaller bodys. But I was amazed that this top fitted me. Its in a size 14.
Now I know we're still in summer but whenever I see something cute I'll wear during winter/fall, I'll buy it. This is a gorgeous floral printed dress by Expression in a size 16. It feels like velvet and its very warm and cozy.
Ignore how bland my face looks in here, but I got a Disney top! This is from Valley Girl's Disney collection that they seem to have selling all the damn time (Which I don't hate them for, I love Disney! #nevertooold) and the top does seem like it would irritate the skin, but it actually doesn't. Printed on the shirt is Miss Minnie Mouse herself and the shirt is in a size large.
Of course, no opshop journey is complete without a cute accessory. My Mum spotted this when we were about to leave. And I have a gothic side to me and I love anything skull related. So I bought this scarf to add to my collection of skull scarfs.
So thats it for my first Fashion post! I hope you all enjoyed reading this. I have another fashion related post coming in the next week for you all!
