Empties June 2016

Urban Skincare Co. Daily Body Cleanser
I really liked this, didn't last long, but from what I got to used from it, I enjoyed it.

Rimmel Colour Precise Liner
I love this, but the packaging is just a fail. The lid fell off and dried up and I had only had it for a week. Would I repurchase, yes and no. Looking for a similar one.

The Body Shop Oils Of Life
I LOVED this. I want more but I'm not spending $70 on an oil.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
I enjoyed this, but I think I have found another powder I liked more. I have a backup of this, but I'm not sure if I want to use it or sell it.

Original Source Vanilla and Raspberry Shower Gel
I liked this, but I probably wouldn't repurchase this one.

Rimmel Hide the Blemish Concealer
This just looks like a big fat nope. It broke and became gross, so I'm just throwing it out.

June Favourites 2016

This month has flown by so fast, I'm shocked! Anyway, my favourites this month are a fair few repeats, but it shows how much I do love them.

Australis Fresh and Flawless Powder I think mine is in the shade Natural? Could be wrong though. But I actually much prefer this over the Rimmel Stay Matte. Its very light, and adds a slight amount of colour, without changing my complexion.

Mac Brave I am obsessed with Brave, its my 'My Lips But Better' shade. I haven't worn it too much but when I do wear it I love it.

Essence Matt Touch Blush in Berry Me Up: This is just the perfect warm winter shade, its pretty pigmented for Essence too.

Mellow Blush in Bronze: I've started using this as a bronzer and I love it!

Rimmel Contour Kit: I like the highlighter and the Contour shade in this, I use this if I want a gentle softer look.

Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette: If you don't have it, go get it. Its magical! Review coming soon!

Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless I actually really like this despise the fact I hate the whitening drops. When it works its fantastic.

Jeffree Star Celebrity Skin and Mannequin I love these both. Only worn Mannequin once but I just love it. They both look the same in this picture but below are swatches.

Australis Gems Collection Review

The Australis Gem's Collection was released early May of 2016, and featured some unique shades of Velourlips and Metallix Shadows.

There is a total of 4 Shades in the collection, a Taupe, a Blue, a Green, and a White.

I picked up the Taupe (Quartz and All) and the Blue (To-Paz or Not To-Paz) and I'm a huge fan of them.

The Blue is very much a Navy blue and requires a few coats to get to desired opacity. I found that when I wore this, and ate a greasy toasted sandwich, that this one did not budge at all. Easily lasted 12 hours. Which I was very impressed with.

The Taupe Shade is hard to describe as its not as nude as the bottle shows. I tried to research to find a way to describe it, but no luck. But its a nude with purple undertones, I hope I described it correctly as I suck at describing shades! I've worn this a few times and I'm not quite sure how I feel about it on me. I like it, but I'm not quite sure if I love it. But its a very unique nude that I don't own.

The shadows, I honestly regret buying. I hated them. I got the shades Girl On Sap-Phire (Blue) and Jaded (Green).

I wore these once, and not only are they very tacky, they transfered onto above my crease line, and smudged very easily. I would probably use these as a base, but not on its own.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless Review

This review has taken longer than I thought to produce. The shade wasn't right for me, and I didn't want to buy another one just incase the actual foundation didn't work for me. It wasn't until recently when I got my hands on The Body Shop's Whitening Drops I could actually get the foundation to suit my fair complexion. The shade I got is in the shade 120, and the next lightest one 115 is too pink toned. I need one inbetween (Australia sucks for shade ranges.)

For coverage, I can easily say its a full coverage foundation, thats not too heavy. Its medium weight I'd say as its not light either. I don't find I need to use much concealer with this as it covers most of what I usually cover.

I found this out the hard way - Don't use powder with this foundation as it will cake on your skin.

The foundation is directed to those who have normal to oily skin, which is what I have.

It lasts all day and does not fade.

Downside about this foundation is that it doesnt come with a pump, and I kinda wish it did as I always get out waaay too much.

RRP: $19.95 (Priceline)

What would I rate it: 8/10

Would I repurchase: Yes I would, I dont often use full coverage foundation, but this one I'm happy to use.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo Leather Review

I know, this isn't really new. But I still wanted to do a review on it. Its good to have a few opinions on products on the interwebs.

Did I just type interwebs? I'm online too often.

But this review is on this shade (80 Creamy Beige) from the Maybelline Colour Tattoo Leather collection. Which is in stores now.

I have got reviews coming on the new Maybelline products just released in Australia - the Blushed Palette, the Vivid Matte Lipstick and the Dream Velvet foundation. Just waiting to get my hands on some more products.

The Colour Tattoo, Like the rest of the line is a Cream Gel Eyeshadow.

It Claims to last 24hrs, and this swatch shown in the picture above lasted 2 days.

The shade I chose, Creamy Beige, is a light caramel tan in a satin finish.

This is part of the Permanent Line.

Would I Repurchase?
Honestly, don't know. I love it. But I don't use it enough to repurchase. And I find that these dry up quite fast too.

Jeffree Star Celebrity Skin Liquid Lipstick Review

I currently have sooo much to review, I don't know where to start. So I'm going with my current obsession. Jeffree Star's Velour Liquid Lipstick in Celebrity Skin. If you don't know about Jeffree Star, well, where the heck have you been?! No, but seriously, heres a little about his brand.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics (Or just 'Jeffree Star' as everyone refers the brand to) Is a brand owned by, er, Jeffree Star. His own makeup is phenomenal, like, I need his skills please and thank you, and Jeffree had always dreamed of making his own makeup line, so Jeffree Star Cosmetics happened. (I am so crap at brand descriptions Hooolyyyy) The whole brand is 100% Cruelty Free, the brand is also made in LA!

A little about this particular shade, this one I'm reviewing today is Celebrity Skin. This has been on my wishlist since day one. And I finally caved in and bought it. I'll talk about shipping in a moment. Celebrity Skin is described as a 'Soft Brown Nude, with a Peachy undertone.' And I think I must agree, though I think its a lot more brown than I had expected. But I still love it.

The packaging, reminds me of little kids makeup, but I love little kids makeup so I'm kinda in love with it. - I'm not saying its cheap quality! The quality is very sturdy, and it has some weight to it.

The applicator, is a bent doe-foot. Making it very easy to apply to the entire lip area.

The Formula is very lightweight, kinda very Similar to ColourPop, but I think Jeffree Star is better.

Application was pretty good, until I ate greasy food (#unhealthybitch) and it wore off. I reapplied and the formula became a bit, bobbly? But I think that was my own fault, not the lipstick.

Shipping to Australia - I was actually Impressed with. Its $10.95 Flat Rate - And Free over $150.
My order came within a week and a half, and it came packed in a box, with bubble wrap, and the product was bubble wrapped and then wrapped in tissue paper. A little over the top for just one item, but I'd rather my item arrive safe than damaged (Cause we all know how pathetic and careless Aus Post are. Like, [rant but whatever] I was home this morning and the courier came and just left a note and im like 'I'm just sitting right here hey hello.')

Each of the Velour Liquid Lipsticks retail at $18USD Per Item. Which changes to $24.30 AUD.

Would I repurchase?
....I just bought Mannequin...

What Else is on my Wishlist?
Oh Gaaawd.
Unicorn Blood
Gemini
Androgyny
Abused
Masochist

Lust Have It! May 2016

This months box was nothing too spectacular. In my opinion. It came with nice things, but its not colours I'd normally reach for. Heres what I got:

Teeez Spectrum Of Stars Shadow in Sea Glare
Without a doubt, this is such a gorgeous shadow and I would buy some more in more wearable shades in a heartbeat. The shade I got is an iridescent shimmery green, and I plan on doing a mermaid inspired look with this shadow, which I will be featuring on my blog soon in a new series coming up.
These Shadows retail for $30.40AUD

Urban Skincare Co. Daily Body Cleanser Sample
I. Loved. This. Stuff. I used it all up in one go and I want more. It smells amazing and a little goes a long way (Half of it went down the sink before I rubbed it in.). It can even be used as a bubble bath, which I bet would be amazing.
The Full Size Retails for $10.00AUD

Lollipops Lip Balm
I have so many lip balms and I don't use them all, so I've given this one to my Aunt. But its a very light pink shade.
This Retails for $5.50 USD (Couldn't find AUD)

StarLooks Pro Felt Tip Liner in Brown
I was in need of a new liner, but in black. But this will do for now. I'm wearing it today and I'm liking it so far. Its a darker brown, rather than a light brown light most liners can be.
This Retails for $19.00 USD (Around $30 AUD)

Protect. Hydrate. Rejuvenate Leave in Moisturiser
My Mum is a lover for items like this so I gave this to her. She said she really enjoyed it and I'm about to buy her more of it.
