Swap with RokItShopIt!

Yes. I did another swap. This time with the lovely Trish from RokItShopIt from Instagram. You can view her blog here. Trisha was a pleasure to do a swap with and I'd gladly do another one for her. I feel like we were very similar in tastes with makeup and what not.

Soap and Glory Conditioner. Even thought I have a dry scalp, this conditioner is perfect for traveling. Its a great size and I'm sure the product is great too.

Rimmel Lip Pencil in 024 Red Diva. So excited to use this, its more of a darker red than the one red lip pencil I already own.

See this skull. Its a friggen lip balm. HOW CUTE. I love it. And it smells like coconuts.

So excited to use these. Hopefully putting them on after this post is uploaded.

A girl can never have too many Baby Lips, well, we can. But this one, I have used already and it is so hydrating. It is from the ElectroPop Collection in the shade Berry Bomb.

Got these 2 Glam by Manicare goodies. Some gorgeous fake nails and fake lashes. I'm not one for fake lashes but I'll give 'em a go.

Most excited for this. This collection isn't even out in Australia yet. This is in shade 20 and its a gorgeous silvery lilac.

This lip gloss glows in the dark. Pretty dope right. Why did I use the term dope? Probably cause I'm hungry.

Artiste Mirror. I actually needed this. My handbag mirror has almost broken and I needed a replacement.

Chi Chi's new 3 in 1 White Eye Pencil. This is basically a dupe for NYX Jumbo eye pencil which I love, so a review comparing the two will come shortly.

MORE FACE MASKS. YAY!

She also sent candy. Yummeh.

October Bellabox

Okay. So I don't know if I have stated this in a blogpost before, but I am considering unsubscribing from Bellabox cause I'm sick and tired of getting product that either:

  • Don't suit my needs
  • Too many samples
  • Not written in my about me bio
Its like they don't freaking pay attention.

I have a dry scalp. I have acne prone skin. I don't get my period.

And this months box has made me MAD. Its meant to be their 4th birthday box and everyone is meant to get a surprise but to be honest, my box was a piece of complete shit.

Lets start off with the first thing.

No photo for this item and I shall explain in a moment.

EVERYONE was meant to get a Coastal Scents Sample Eyeshadow Quad, Eyeshadow or Blush Duo.

I GOT NEITHER.

I can say that I am beyond mad and I have emailed bellabox a very unhappy complaint email saying I am dissapointed and if I continue to be dissapointed in their services I will be unsubscribing.

I was so excited for this item too as I want to try CS really bad.

I have stalked the #bellabox tag on instagram (follow me @xobrontie I'm active all the time) and several people have recieved the item smashed. Bellabox has replied to these people saying they will resolve the issue so I am hoping they will resolve mine otherwise I'm saying goodbye bellabox in the new year.

First off I got this QVS dual ended brush and this is complete crap. When I took it out of its packaging so many bristles fell out from the powder side. the Foundation side doesn't look too bad. Will I use this. Not sure.

What did I say up the top, I don't get my period. So....

Burts Bee's Intense Hydration Nourishing Facial Water. This is not micellar water, it is used for after cleansing and I'm pretty keen to try this out.

Maccadamia Oil Luxorious Oil Treatment. This is a mask for DRY HAIR. So I won't be using this. Theres like not enough in it to cover my entire head anyway.

Bellabox made an error this month and apologised for this product. The shampoo was meant to be sent also but an error occured and they forgot to include it. They emailed us letting us know and as part of their apology we will get a free mascara next month. Anyway, this conditioner is for dry, depleated hair and.....i have a dry scalp.....

Oil Free Acne Wash by Neutrogena. I'm excited to use this but it has Salycylic acid in it and after trying Real-U I found my skin doesn't like that product so I probably will use this but I'm not keen on it.

Swap With PynkBunny!

Over the past month, Bloggers United AU decided to host a Halloween Swap with Australian Bloggers, so I put my name in and the blogger I was paired up with was the lovely Athy from PynkBunny who is ever so adorable. Heres what I got in my swap with her.

Of course, I got a lovely letter to start with, even though the paper was more christmas themed than halloween it was still adorable.

First thing inside the box was this cute as Hello Kitty Brush set. I told Athy that I was a pretty huge HK fan and I collect her but I'm actually going to use these brushes.

She saw my Fairy Halloween tutorial on youtube (Which you can view here) and it inspired her to make this purchase. It is a glowy face primer which is something I don't own, but have been searching for lately as I want to have glowy skin in the summer. This is by Korean Brand Vivito and you bet I will have a review coming up for this soon.

Derp. No makeup face. But she bought me this ADORABLE Hello Kitty beanie that I am in love with. Probably will only ever wear this around the house though, cause I only ever leave the house in black, let be real.

Woops the next two pictures won't rotate. But this is a tinted lip gloss by the brand Hope Girl which is yet another Korean brand.

Athy knows I love my drugstore finds so she made sure she included something drugstore wise. And to my suprise its a Loreal product. And to be honest, I don't own much Loreal, but I love the brand. I just think they are too expensive here, as well as Revlon.

And finally, she threw in some face masks, cause I told her I hadn't tried many but wanted to experiment. I'm most excited for the animal ones. There is a snail and a tiger one and i think I'm most excited for the snail one, cause what the hell does a snail face look like?!

NYX Coloured Mascara Review

These mascara's aren't exactly new. I'm pretty sure they've been out for a while but here in Australia, We've only recently been able to buy them via the Target Website (Not available in stores). So when NYX Australia offered to send me a few, of course I said yes and jumped to the chance. So here is my review on them.

Mascara's don't tend to have a scent. Some do, and often its a pretty strong scent too. But this mascara has the most unique scent of all. I think it quite smells of Talc Powder. Y'know, powder you put on your body, and after conducting some research the product does NOT contain talc, I thought I'd add that in as an important note as I know some people can be allergic to talc.

To get the full effect of the mascara, it took me about 2-3 thick coats. Though I could easily do 4. Then again I have very dark eyelashes and it may apply easier with lighter eyelashes.

With saying that, the formula in my opinion is very, very watery for a mascara. Its almost like a liquid liner. And it can splatter if you are not careful

The brush is very thin which is okay, because I don't know what other kind of brush I'd expect from a coloured mascara.

And of course, like all NYX products, this product is cruelty free! Which is a major bonus.

There are I believe 5 (Maybe 6?) In total to get.

Real-U Control + Face Gel Review

Real-U are an upcoming Australian Based company that make products for Acne Prone Skin. Their products are aimed to help your skin no matter what age, because alot of products these days are specified for 'teenage' skin, and lets be honest. Our skin ages as we do. Real-U have an aim and that is to stop hurting our skin with harmful chemicals and start to become friends with it again!

This specific product by Real-U has NO Benzoyl Peroxide and NO Salycylic Acid.

I can say after testing this product it is gentle to the skin.

On my skin (Which I am Oily/Combination. I had severe acne in high school) it does tend to break me out the next day so I only use this once a week. But it isn't a bad break out. It helps that pimple that is just 'sitting there' come out more so I don't have to wait days for it to appear.

It definatley minimized my pores, almost instantly. Which I loved. I'd honestly probably try to use this as a primer if it will minimize my pores faster than my current pore erasing primer.

This product, unlike alot of ones you can buy, is actually made in Australia. Which is a major bonus!

And last of all, the product has no scent.

Would I recommend this product? Of course!

You can read up more about Real-U here.

ELF Undereye Setting Powder Review

After hearing some reviews from some of my favourite YouTuber's, I decided I really wanted to get my hands on this product. But having a very small ELF supply in my local Kmart, I thought my chances of finding it were pretty slim. Until one day, and I saw it in the corner of my eye and without a doubt, I grabbed it and bought it.

Well thats my story thanks for reading kbye.

Oh my review?

Well lets start off with the actual powder.

It has some very fine glitter reflects in it, but once applied to the undereye area it basically is invisible and you can't notice it.

It comes with a pretty good amount of product in it. I've had this since....beginning of Autumn this year-ish? and I'm only starting to run low on it.

And the best part about it is that it doesn't cause any creasing during the daytime.

The only thing I can say is not needed with the product, is the bloody applicator. Its half the size of a concealer brush. How the hell am I supposed to cover my under eye area with that. Its useless and it doesn't need to be included.

So, overall for this ELF product I would possibly repurchase, though I think for here in Australia it is overpriced and I'm thinking of trying a translucent powder under my eyes next time.

ColourPop Fall Collection Haul

EEEP!

Just got these in the mail and I'm so excited about it I have to post it now on my blog along with a mini review.

ColourPop's Fall Collection is themed around 90's Grunge and TV Shows and just in general things that were remembered in the 90s.

As a 90's kid, I was overly excited for this collection and had to buy SOMETHING. I could've bought the entire collection, but I held myself back.

Central Perk:
Now, if you aren't familiar with the name, Central Perk is the name of the Coffee Shop in Friends. Its where the gang hang out and, well alot of memorys were made there. I was going to buy this Super Shock Shadow no matter what because of its name, but its actually a gorgeous colour. After looking on the website, I was expecting a coffee brown colour, cause y'know, its a cafe? But its actually a brown with a mix of Purple and red. You'll see in the swatch soon. Its basically Bae (Also from ColourPop) Without the glitter and shimmers and in a matte formula.

Mixed Tape:
I bought this because of the colour pretty much. Its a taupe-ey silvery, greyish colour....lets see what colourpop says so I can get a more accurate description.
'Mid-tone cool grey'
Yeah I guess I can agree with that. This is a pearlized formula

Cruel Intentions:
I BOUGHT MY FIRST COLOURPOP BLUSH!
AH So excite! And its a GORGEOUS mauve shade just like I love too. I'm nervous about applying it as it is super pigmented, the swatch below was a real gentle swatch with no pressure barely so its super impressive. It could probably be used as an eyeshadow too.
