Bellabox August 2015 Review

Its that time of the month again!

And my box actually arrived on time, this time. So happy.

Just a quick, well its not a disclaimer but it sorta is. While writing this and the next 2 post for this week, I have got severe food poisoning. I think the chicken pie I ate had raw chicken in it and now I just feel like utter crap. But yay for Imodium and Panadol! So if I seem out of sorts in the next few posts, I'm just not feeling too great. Hence also the very crappy photos. I just about killed me taking them. Well not really but having a headache doesnt help.

But lets get on with the goodies!

DermaSukin Oil Balancing Wash
I love this product alot - in saying that I haven't tried it but I love what it claims to do/be. I use Cetaphil Daily Cleanser (I think thats the name) whenever I take a shower and thats basically what this product is. It claims not to be drying too and to remove excess oil. Review will for sure be coming for this.
Full Size RRP: $8.95 Available at Priceline

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Pads
At first I had no idea what these where. Where they for your nipples? What were they for. There are so many long words on the packaging that I just looked at and though "What the hell does that mean?" Which made it 10x more confusing. But. After a bit of research it turns out that these are just some toner pads. Like, WHY NOT JUST SAY THAT. *Insert frustrated emoji here*
I got the 5 pack.
The 60 Pack Retails for $29.95 and is available from Target.

Pilaten Collagen Lip Mask
Apparently this is a trend in Asia and as a beauty blogger I haven't heard too much about it to be quite honest. The first I heard about it was through Shaaanxo's Vlog channel where she tried it, and according to her, she felt no reaction. I might try it tonight as I have dry lips from being dehydrated and see if it works but to be honest, my hopes aren't that high.
RRP: $4.95 each or 3 for $10.00 - Available on the bellabox website.

Max Factor Masterpiece Max Mascara.
A Full size mascara! Yay! This is the first time I've ever got any mascara in a bellabox - apart from the clear brow gel by ABH. But that was only a sample. I haven't tried much from Max Factor but I'm thinking when Priceline has their 40% off Cosmetics sale I will buy some things to try. I DONT KNOW WHEN THAT IS BUT IT SHOULD BE SOON!
Full Size: $23.95 Available at Priceline and Target

Heel Balm Platinum
Why did I get this as a bonus product? I think its pretty crap. I never wrote down in my bellabox bio I have bad feet. My feet are actually incredibly smooth. But whatever I'm over it. I just feel its a waste of a product as I'll never use it.

ChapStick Night Repair
Do I need another lip balm? No, not really. But its pretty cool to get a ChapStick in the box as I do find them rather expensive and I don't normally buy them for myself.
Full Size: $6.99 Available at Priceline

August ColourPop Haul

Bonus Post Today!

On my 21st Birthday I've decided to post a bonus post.

So lets just jump right into my haul from ColourPop!!

This is Bae, She is a gorgeous Metallic shadow with what I call a twist. You'd expect her to (why am I calling it a her?) Be a dark navy colour but shes actually burgandy with purple/blue/silver iridescent sparkles in it. I love it so much.

Feather is an Ultra Metallic, so far one of my favourite mediums at ColourPop. Shes a lot more glittery than I expected though, and shes more of a gunmetal. I was expecting a slate grey as thats how shes shown on the website. But I still love her. (Dent in image was made by my nail.)

Feather and Bae

I bought 3 Lippie stix. 2 Sheer and 1 Matte. The 2 sheer ones I purchased were Tiger and Peacocky. A burgandy red and a, red. The last one is a matte formula and is in the shade Blood. It is what I call a Merlot Red Wine kind of colour. I love them all.

I bought an Ultra Matte Lip too just to see what the hype is all about. I got the shade Midi. And shes a gorgeous shade but dries alot darker than shown in packaging. So. I think my feelings are a bit hit and miss with her so far.

From left: Midi, Blood, Peacocky and Tiger

So yeah, thats it for my order. And I've learned a lesson not to order right after a restock or after something is released as I had to wait around 3 weeks for this to arrive.

Review: Maybelline Hypersharp Wing Liner

For ages I have been on the search for the most perfect liner. One thats not thick and pretty easy to use. And Maybelline's newest liner is just that. Its perfect. Goodbye old liners, hello Maybelline Hypersharp Wing. Lets get into it!

Lets start with the packaging. I love the packaging. Its not just plain boring black with white or grey writing in fact it has a, semi holographic print on it. And the two colours just blend wonderfully. (Well Black and anything matches)

This liner has a thick side, and a thin side. Which is wonderful because somedays I want a thin line whereas on others I'd like a thick line. So basically you flip the pen over, if that makes sense. Its hard to describe what you do - I thought there was a latch and you turned the latch, but no. Blonde moment.

And obviously this is a black liner and its very black.

It doesn't fade during the day and its rather matte.

So I love this liner, I've thrown my other liners out because they just don't do justice to this liner.

Would I buy this again? Definatley.

Review: Covergirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous Foundation

-noms on caramel popcorn-

Oh Hey Hi, Hello! Didn't see you pop up!

About a week or so ago I tried out the Covergirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous Foundation and I quite liked it. Its exactly what I look for in a foundation and something I would buy again. Heres my thoughts on it!

It is a Medium Coverage Foundation - Which is something I really like. Though, the foundation can be easily built to a full coverage

-cat sits on my notebook- Uh yeah I wasn't using that or anything.

I didn't use a pore filling primer and I found with my pores they were covered by the foundation  and gave my skin a fresh look. It is good with or without a primer as I did a half and half look

A little goes a long way with this foundation. I accidently applied way too much (As you will see in the video) and had to pat the excess away with a foundation sponge.

This foundation works well as a concealer in my opinion, but we will see soon if the pairing concealer works well too.

Its a very flawless, natural looking mascara. My mother complimented me on it saying it looked very natural and not 'caked on' like some foundations can look like.

The packaging is perfect in my opinion and is great for travelling as it wont take up much space in your makeup bag.

I found that the longer I wore the foundation, the better it matched my skintone. Which was nice for a change.

And last of all, it is really easy to blend.

The only downfall of this foundation is, that in Australia we only have 4 shades. Though it doesn't bother me because 'Buff Beige' is what shade I'm in with the Outlast Stay Fabulous so this foundation matched perfectly. But for others, this is a massive hassle.

Would I buy this foundation again? For sure, without a doubt I would.

Have you tried this foundation? If so what do you think about it.
