July Favourites 2015

Another Month has gone. Is it just me or has this month really flown by? Before you know it I'll be 21! Here are my beauty favourites for the month of July.

I've been using the total crap out of this palette this month and I don't think its going to change in the future either. I intend on taking this palette away with me as it fits in my makeup bag. To me, its the perfect winter palette as it has such warm shades in it.

I love the new baby lips. The formula is amazing and now they have a hint of colour to them! Peach is currently my favourite. Review coming on these soon!

The Revo lip balms are a new thing to Priceline and I luckily got this bad boy in my Parcel. (Oh - update, I'm getting a free nail polish in replacement of the bronzer.) Its moisturising and it smells - and tastes, amazing.

Acne has been on my face this month and this is my favourite blemish concealing product. Its thick and it builds up well.

As you can see, I hit pan on my baby. She's been in alot of my favourite posts, shes my crease's fiance. Thats about it.

Oh my gosh i love this. Its so natural looking and you don't look cakey. Its like a BB cream but more pigmented. Review coming soon.

What were your favourites for July?

Bellabox July Review 2015

So my Bellabox for this month arrived a little late. 5 days late. Normally it takes 2 days to arrive from Melbourne, but this time it took 5 days. Which to be honest annoyed me a little bit, but I'm just glad I got it in the end. And this months box is pretty good and I see myself using...well everything. Let's get into it!

Proactiv+ Complexion Perfection Hydrator
Lightweight Moisturiser, suitable for all skin types.
I'm pretty excited to recieve this, I mean come on, its Proactiv, and this stuff is expensive. And my God, Its a pretty decent sized container too. 1 FL OZ to be exact. I'm super excited to use this and there will be a review on this in the future.
Full Size Retails At: $60.00 (89ml)

Palmolive Body Polish Shower Gel
Delicious exfoliating body wash
Delicious? Um, yes. This stuff smells so good and smells like berries. It also contains real berry seeds as part of the exfoliation beads which is pretty neat. I'll be taking this away on my Melbourne adventure when I travel there next month.
Full Size Retails At: $6.79 (400ml)

MOR Hand Cream
This was this months bonus gift, and I'm kind of jealous of everyone else as they got an Essie polish (-cries-) Not that MOR is a bad brand I haven't used them to be honest and I know they are good when it comes to hand creams and body butters. Its just....I'm an Essieholic.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub
Gentle daily scrub...healthier-looking complexion.
This is a pretty decent sized exfoliator (in my opinon). And I can't wait to use it.
Full Size Retails At: $12.99

Neutrogena Make-Up Remover Cleansing Towlettes
A perfect travel bag accessory
I agree Bellabox team. This is a perfect travel bag accessory. I actually wanted travel makeup wipes, but haven't been able to find them anywhere. So to get them in my Bellabox is actually great. And theres 7 wipes in there which is the perfect amount.
Full Size Retails At $7.99

Model Co Shadow Sticks (St Bart)
Newly launched eyeshadow stick
You all know how I feel when it comes to ModelCo. I don't think they are that great and use too many chemicals in their products. But from testing this product out on my hand, I rather like it so far. But I have used shadow sticks before that stain on the lids so will this one also stain my lids? We will find out and I will get back to you all on that.

So thats my Bellabox for this month. I do know that in the next Bellabox they are collaborating with Max Factor which is super exciting and I can't wait to see which makeup product they feature next month.

-Hides- ANOTHER HAUL!

I know. I'm on a spending ban. But these things I needed because I thought they'd be good for travelling because they won't break and they aren't that heavy. So heres what I bought!

Maybelline Baby Skin Primer $15.95
Normally I would not spend that kind of money on something so small. But I just had to get my hands on this as I had heard it was pretty good. And its worth the money and the hype. Review coming on this in the next post!

Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation - $16.95
This is what I mainly wanted on my whole trip. I think the size is perfect for travelling. I also have a review on this coming next week - either Friday or Wednesday. Most likely Friday as I have a feeling my Bellabox will be here Tuesday. Also I was going to buy this at Target, but my local Target had nothing in the makeup section. Maybelline, Nyx, Revlon and Covergirl had hardly anything so I left. But bought these 2 next babies

Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow Lip Pencils - $4.86 (Originally $6.95)
These were the only things I found at Target. Though I kinda wish I bought them at Priceline cause they are like $2.50 or something there. But oh well. I have the whole collection now and if anymore come out, you for sure know I'll be buying them.

So thats my final haul until August. I'll be shopping like mad in Melbourne!

Feel free to follow me on instagram to see what I get up to! - xobrontie

Review: Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation

So. I was in need of a new foundation. But I wasn't quite sure what to use. I had heard several people on youtube recommend this foundation so I thought I'd give it a go. I hadn't used much by Covergirl before, only their mascaras. And I had used their old formula eyeshadows and didn't particularly like them so I was a bit hesitant about trying their foundation. But from what I saw instore, I liked it. Here's my full review:

As a lover and previous religious user of the Revlon Colorstay Foundation. I found the formula and application of this foundation very similar.

Its a medium coverage foundation which I really like as I like some of my flaws to peek out so it looks like I just am wearing foundation to enhance my skin which is what I like to use.

Its a very flawless foundation and I found it hid my gross pores quite easily.

What I liked most about this foundation is that its a concealer, primer and obviously a foundation all in one. I haven't found the need to use a primer with it yet. I've only used one if my skin just needed a wake-me-up in the morning.

The foundation just seems to glide on and blend out very nicely.

I have oily skin and I find it doesn't crease, cake or wear off during the day. It stays fabulous.

I'm in the shade 825 Buff Beige and I was in the shade Buff for Revlon Colourstay.

It has SPF 20 in it so its good around the sun.

I would definatley buy this foundation again.

July Haul + Spending Ban!

Okay lets start off with the bad news. I've put myself on a spending ban. Just for a month. I'm traveling to Melbourne for my 21st and I thought "I don't need anything right now, I'm going to shop like crazy when I'm in Melbourne" so thats what I'm going to do. I seriously don't need anything. Apart from Makeup wipes. Thats all I will need. But I'm trying not to use them all up.

And I tell you what. THIS REALLY SUCKS. Cause 1: Target have got 30% off all cosmetics and UGH. When Chi Chi is on sale. Mama needs to buy her some. And point number 2: Maybelline have come out with some amazing new products. Which I bought all I wanted apart from one thing. The pore eraser. I haven't been able to get my hands on it. But I told myself '$16 is a bit pricey for that tiny tube. Wait until Melbourne, or until it goes on sale'. So I'm doing that.

But lets get on with the haul! Lemme show ya what I got!

Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow Balm Stains
I guess you'd call them a balm stain. But ugh I love these and I'm actually thinking of buying 2 more tomorrow cause I can spare $2.50 each. But I have a review coming on these in the next few weeks. And I believe these are a new product from Maybelline. YAY!

E.L.F. High Definition Undereye Setting Powder
So Shaaanxo used to rave about this product, so when I saw it at Kmart, I decided to grab it. Kmart has really improved in the makeup department and I kinda want to go ham over their makeup and...yeah. I'm thinking of doing a full face elf tutorial in the future?

Maybelline Lash Sensational
Another new product from Maybelline is this mascara. And I have heard people rave about this product so I just had to get my hands on it. Review will be coming at the end of August as I have soo many mascaras to use. #girlproblems

Maybelline Hyper Sharp Wing Liner
I just used this today and omg. I'm throwing out my other liners cause they are complete shit compared to this one. This one is just amazing. Review coming on this next week.
*Priceline and Chemist Warehouse have a sale on this product and the Mascara. Buy the 2 in one packet for just $24! I did the math and you are saving yourself close to $15 just by doing this because buying both of them individually is close to $40.*

E.L.F Blending Eye Brush's
I use these all the time and they are only $3 so I just bought more cause I'm going to use them so why not.

Review: Essence All About Matte Powder

As most of you guys should know, I'm a pretty big fan of most of Essence's products. But I hadn't tried any of their Foundations/Powders and I thought I'd put them to a test in a full face review on my YouTube. I did this a couple months back and as you know I've been slacking a bit with the blog posts but I'm going to try and post atleast 3 times a week now. With either reviews, unboxings, hauls, first impressions or tutorials. And for the next week, I'm focusing on reviews, as I have no set tutorials or first impressions planned. But I will have them ready in the coming week. But lets focus on the main product in this post. The Essence All About Matte Powder.

*Correction, I'm too lazy to change my error but its Matt not Matte*

This powder by Essence is their only Translucent Powder they have on the shelves in Australia (May be different in other Countries) Now if you are unsure as to what the word translucent means, it means it will automatically suit the shade of your skin no matter if you are pale as hell like me, dark toned, or tan. This is the whole reason why I chose to test this powder, because in Essence Foundation's and powders they only have 3 Shades (Again may be different in other countries but this is from an Australian perspective) Which I believe are Light, Medium and Dark. The light for me was just too tan for my liking so I decided to try this powder and it matched perfectly with my skin tone and didn't change the colouring at all.

It is very soft when applied to skin, and I just used my regular brush and the application was just softer. It may be because of the con though that I will get into in a moment.

I found the first time I applied this powder it was slightly cakey. Though this may have been because I have never used a Translucent powder before and I'm not used to the application. But since the first time I used it, the application wasn't so cakey.

Now for the cons (Downfalls of the product)

The formula is a bit Chalky. But that is to be expected I suppose from such a cheap brand. I mean it's not Mac or Revlon.

The packaging is just cheap and could possibly break easily. Though it is a nice packaging its just cheap. But again, its a cheap brand and its to be expected.

Overall:

I may, or may not buy this product again. I don't know. I think I prefer my Maybelline Powder (review coming on that soon too)

^^ Full Face Essence video!

The powder retails for around $6.95/$7.95 I'm not entirely sure and I don't think they have a website.

*Edit*

Yes they have a website, its www.essence.eu/au/home and the powder costs $6.15

Review: The Parcel Home and Away x Girlfriend

This is a very rare unboxing. This isn't a monthly unboxing, but a seasonal boxing. And what I like about this box is that you can see what you are going to get. I was happy with my box, until it came to the biggest item. And I'll show you that last. This box retails for $19.95 and is SOLD OUT.

There are more boxes to choose from, all at varied prices. Just go to www.theparcel.com.au - The only thing is, you can only pay via card, not paypal.

Now into the box.

Revo Lip Balm
This is basically the same thing as the EOS Lip Balm's Its in a round container and is a natural product. I got the scent Coconut, which I didn't smell yet to see if it smells like it or not. I'm pretty sure that this retail's for about $4.99

Dermalogica Foaming Wash
This is pretty cool. I'll be traveling in the next month so this will be great to take as a makeup remover. Its a decent sample size and I wish we got ones this size in the Bellabox.

Designer Brands Quick Colour Nail Polish
I got the colour Tutti Fruti and the colour isn't showing properly in the image but its actually a coral. I'm not sure what this colour is going to be like, is it going to chip because its a cheaper brand? Unsure. Going to paint my nails tonight though.

BYS Liquid Illuminator
I'm going to try use this as a glowy primer to give my skin a glow - most likely in the summer. But I might do a tutorial soon using it. This retails for around $9.95 I was looking at this at Kmart today.

MOR Little Luxuries Hand Cream
This handcream contains Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter and Vitamins A and E, and it smells and feels so nice. I've never used anything from Mor before.

Miss Moxie Tampons
Unfortunately I won't use these, for a while anyway, as I don't get my period. (I am on the Pill)

Rubi Bronzer

Yeah so as you can see, this smashed. It was over everything in my box, and the mirror was broken too. So this sucks. As I was most looking forward to this because I don't have a bronzer.

So this box was pretty good. Not the best I've got. But I will use most of the things.

June Favourites 2015

Phew, June's done with. Time to move onto July, then August, which is my Birthday month! Eeek so excited for it!

Anyway before I get too carried away lets talk about my favourites of this month.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous I just started using this foundation and I love it. Its amazing. I have a review coming up soon for it so keep an eye out

Beauty Rush; Punchadelic by Victoria's Secret I've been using this as an all over body spray in June and it has quite a nice sweet scent to it.

Chapstick's Again I've been loving them. I use them constantly. This one is my favourite in Cake Batter.

Lady Gaga Fame This is my favourite 'Winter' scent as to me its kinda warm

Nyx Hot Black and Whipped Cream I've been obsessed with these 2 colours. Because of their amazing pigmentation and the quality.

Essence All About Matte Powder This has been my most reached for powder this month. I have a review coming on this soon too so keep your eyes peeled.

ColourPop Shadows in Selfie and Rebel Its a sad time when you have hit pan on your favourite shadows and thats the case with these two. I have used them so much this month, mainly Selfie.

Bella Box June 2015 Overview

Brighten up your Winter with a Pop of Colour

That was the quote on the information sheet this month. And I kind of love it. Its something I've been trying to do lately, as I wear black and dark colours during the winter. This months box was a great box. And basically all paid for as it had 3 full size products inside. Lets get into it!

Original Source Skin Quench in Pineapple and Coconut Oil
...Will leave you feeling quenched, nourished and revitalised
I was pretty pumped to see this massive full size product in my box, and I dont think I have ever recieved one this big from Bellabox either so this was totally awesome to find. It smells really nice and I cannot wait to use it.
Full Size: $4.99

Sleek Iridescence Shimmer Glaze
Infused with tiny particles of glitter and pearlscent pigments for long lasting shimmer
I was so happy to recieve this product as I'm quite a fan of Sleek but have never tried them before. I just know they are cheap and worth the money. This nude shade is perfect for me because I know I will get alot of use out of it.
Full Size: $12.50

MooGoo Skin Care Full Cream Moisturiser
...designed to hydrate and soothe the skin...
I kinda can't wait to try this moisturiser as I love creamy, refreshing ones and this sounds just like that. And its full cream too which I haven't heard of in moisturisers before either.
RRP: $13.50

Universal Beauty Cosmetics Siren Tint Stick
Pucker up for your pop of colour this winter!
Eh, not the biggest fan of this. I mean its pigmented as hell. But when I put it on, the product bled. and that was just swatched on my hand. I put it on my lips and it bled a little bit but compared to the Revlon version of a tint stick, I'd rather stick with them as they dont bleed. Also I don't wear red.
Full Size $19.99

Model Co Double Sided Facial Wipes
...exfoliate and cleanse in just one wipe!
In case you don't know, which I don't think I've mentioned it before. But, I'm not a fan on Model Co. I've tried their mascara - it smelled of chemicals and burnt my eyes. I've tried their tint - it stained my cheeks and tasted horrible on my lips. So from experience I don't like them. BUT. However I have heard their skincare is pretty good. So I am skeptical about trying this. Is it going to work? Or is it going to be a big flop? I'll let you guys know in a follow up post.
RRP:$7.99

Palmolive Naturals Active Nourishment Shampoo and Conditioner
Okay. I do not need anymore shampoo and conditioner samples. In my familys bathroom we have an entire drawer dedicated to samples and 99% of it is shampoo and conditioner. I won't be using it for 1 reason. I have a dry scalp. I thought it was fine a month ago so I used regular shampoo and conditioner and it stuffed my scalp up and I've only just got it back to 'normal' again. However, this product did come with a 50% off Coupon for this product and they do have a type for dry scalp. So I might buy that as I need more shampoo and conditioner
RRP $4.99

Overall I think this months box was pretty good and I'm excited to use most products.
