So, getting back into the swing of blogging again, I thought I'd start off with one of my must haves in my collection. There are many reviews of this product out there, but I have yet to voice my opinion on these.
I'm pretty sure if you watch YouTube, you would know all about these, but just incase you don't know, I will try to explain what they are.
They can be used for multiple things. Most people in the beauty community use it as an eyeshadow base all over their lids, and some use it on their waterline. And I found last year that it was good for creating this look:
Pro's About the Product:
- Creamy, rather easy to blend
- Soft on your lids, and glides on.
- Pigmented, only one swipe and its on.
- Excellent for a pop of colour on the waterline
- Can be buildable*
- Variety of Shades
Cons about the Product:
- Requires a big sharpener - I just use a cheap Essence one.
- Can stain lids (Happened to me - whoops)
- Can smudge easily, I suggest doing eyes before you do your face.
- Pricey in Target in Aus and NZ. Cheaper on Ebay.
Shades I Have:
Milk
Milk is one of the most well known shades from the line. Its a white eyeliner and it really does stay put. I personally only use this if I need my eyeshadow to be more vibrant as the white makes the colour on my lid really pop. You don't need to apply much either as it blends pretty far.
Pots and Pans
Peacock
I rarely use this pencil, but I got it mainly because of the colour. Its a shimmery blue. Well, more metallic than shimmery. When I do use this I use it on my waterline for a pop of colour, but, I have found that when doing this, it smudges during the day and makes me look like I had a terrible night sleep.
Overall:
I think the product is great. It is something I like to have in my collection all the time.
Have you got one of the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils?
Keep on Smiling,
