July Empties 2016

Well. I used up a lot this month. Mainly bath products. Then I found a few cosmetics that were kinda gross.

These Clearasil Refreshing Superfruit Pads I used as a toner, and I have so much toners that I forgot to use this and it expired. From what I used from it, it was okay. Stung but it was average. Probably wouldn't repurchase.

Seba Med Face and Body Wash I used this as my face cleanser in the shower and this was okay. Reminded me a lot of Cetaphil. Would I repurchase? Probably not as Cetaphil is more easy to buy than it is Seba Med.

Original Source Pineapple and Coconut Oil Shower Gel
This was, in one word. Meh. It was okay. Nothing amazing. I've used other product by this brand and loved them more. Theres nothing spectacular about this one.

Be a Bombshell Mascara
I can't even remember using this. I think it was an okay mascara. It just dried up and went lumpy.

Loral Miss Manga Punky
I bought this OzSale and I would buy it again. Loved this mascara and I used it all up which I never do. Well I think there is some product left, but its basically starting to go lumpy, but I've used it for well over 4 months so its time for it to move on.

NP Set Eyeliner in Brown
Eh, this was alright. The brown eyeliner I'm using now from Starlooks (I got it in a recent Lust Have It) I prefer because its darker and easier to use.

Be a Bombshell Eyeliner....unsure of name
I hated this. Its rough, you have to put major pressure on it to actually get product to appear, and I just generally wouldn't recommend it. I'm just tossing it as I don't care much for it.

Essence Eyeliner Pen
Everyone on InstaBeautyAU told me to buy this when I was in need of a eyeliner that was easy to use. I hated it. Its a thick tip, and applying it was a mess. I have recently bought the Australis Tiny Tip eyeliner which I much prefer.

Lush You've Been Mangoed
This smelled amazing. Don't remember what it felt like or anything though as I probably used this like 3 weeks ago. But I think I would repurchase as its cheap - this is a bath melt I believe?

Lush Lord of Misrule
THIS IS MY FAVE BATH BOMB BY FAR
UGH I love this sooooo much. It smells amazing, and the scent lingers on your body. I've used the shower gel too but I think I prefer the bath bomb.

Essenza Fuss Free Naturals Wipes
Favourite cheap wipes. Only like $5.50 at Kmart. And they work! Already bought another pack.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes
These were crap. All dried out. So I'm putting them in the bin.

Black Charcoal Body Scrub
I need more body scrubs in my life because this felt damn good. Mum got this from a Market in Melbourne and I'm probably going to chase them down when I go back over and buy some more.

Sasy n Savy Shower Gel
This smelt amazing. I need a bigger one.

Maybelline Dr Rescue CC Nails Base Coat
Probably the best base coat I have used so far. Will be repurchasing. And it isn't completley empty, but its near it and I can hardly get any more product out.

July Favourites 2016

I honestly feel like its a bit early to post my favourites, but this month has flown by sooo fast and I've been so busy lately that I haven't had much time to really blog, and this post is actually scheduled early.

Alot of my favourites this month are rediscovered favourites, with a few new products too.

The Swamp Queen Palette by Tarte is hands down one of my new favourites.
Its perfect for a natural look, that you can probably smoke up. I am travelling to Melbourne in the next month (August 16th, my Birthday) and this is going into my bag. Because it has a great mirror and shade selection. Blog Post coming in a few weeks.

Hervana by Benefit is a rediscovered favourite. I loved this a while ago then I stopped using it and I've been using it alot lately mainly because I've been wearing natural looks and not so much heavy, dramatic looks. Its a soft subtle pink, perfect for any look. This is probably another item I'll be taking to Melbourne as it is so versatile.

Essence Light of Orient Collection Bronzer. This bronzer isn't intense and for someone who has a pale ass like me, its perfect. I think I may like it over my Mellow Blush in Bronze, but, I still have a soft spot for that one. I have a review on this collection coming soon, but it is in Target stores now.

Natural Collection eyeshadow in Milk Chocolate. You can tell this product is well loved. Its one of the items I'm aiming to use up in my Project Pan. I think it might be in my empties next month, but we will see as I don't plan on wearing makeup this week, as I'm just sitting in my Dad's office all week.

Kmart 'Love' Brand Highlighter. If you don't have this, go get it. For the price tag, it is GORGEOUS. I've been using it a lot and yeah, its great.

Excuse the dirty apperance of this brush. It needs a wash, But I got this Loreal Brush when I bought their new contour palette, which I was going to do a review on but it looks kinda gross. And this brush for bronzing is perfect.

Loreal La Palette Nude - Roses: Review

Lets start off with saying - If I ever regret buying for an item, it would have to be this one. I totally wish I swatched before purchasing because I just wasn't happy with this palette one bit at all. If I could of got my $25 back that would have been fantastic, because, my Essence Palette is MUCH better quality than this one. And thats a major $20 difference.

I did try selling this palette after I wasn't happy with it, for a cheaper price, but had no luck. So i ended up just donating it, and it was bought while I was volunteering one day.

Now onto the palette. Opening it, you see me throwing the peace sign, waddup dogs.

No just kidding. But as you can see, all shades are VERY similar, which really threw me off. The only shade that doesn't seem similar is the very last purple/plum shade.

It did come with a doe-foot applicator but I always throw them out because I'm never going to use them and they are cheap to buy anyway.

As for pay off, the swatch okay, but honestly for Loreal and $25 I expected alot more pigmentation. My Essence Roses palette is a lot more pigmented than this is.

As for formula, there is a mixture of mattes and shimmers.

Would I Reccommend?

No I wouldn't. Its not worth the price tag, and there are better palettes you can get cheaper out there.

Chi Chi Fabulous and Flawless Foundation Review

Around Christmas last year I got my hands on the Chi Chi Fabulous ans Flawless Foundation and here are my thoughts on it.**

The foundation is definitely medium coverage, but is buildable. I personally don't like a full coverage (Occasionally I do, but most day's I'd prefer Medium) and didn't experiment having it full coverage, but from just playing with it I can tell it is buildable.

The shade was okay in the beginning, but with my ever changing skintone (Pale, casper and Ivory. I don't even know what I am to be honest.) It just didn't suit my skin and made me look like I had a bad tan.

Its oil free, and not tested on animals. Chi Chi have a major love and respect for their animals and are quite requently talking about them on Instagram (@chichicosmeticsofficial)

It is Made in Italy.

It does have a scent. I cannot quite put my finger on it. Its not chemicals, but I think its perfumed.

And the number one positive for me - it has a pump!

**I have recently given the foundation to my mother due to the fact it was a tad dark on me.

Will I Repurchase?
Possibly in a lighter shade. I don't mind the foundation, but I just didn't reach for it, so I don't know. With me and my pale ass, I probably won't because from memory this was the closest match to my skintone and one of the lighter ones that wasn't pink toned.

Kawaii Box June Unboxing!

So I've decided to branch a little out of my comfort zone, and to start featuring more than just beauty on my blog and YouTube. Starting off with my first Kawaii Box unboxing.

What is Kawaii Box?
Good question. Kawaii Box is a subscription service from - I believe mine came from Singapore, they have several sending stations apparently. But everything you get in the box is from Japan. Its purely 'Kawaii' based which is Japanese for cute. Its choc a block filled with up to 12 different stationary, beauty, food, and miscellaneous items, and with me being a 21 year old who is like 4 years old at heart, I couldn't say no to this. My sister and I partnered up to subscribe as the box is $20AUD with Free Shipping, and we are both suckers for anything cute so we decided we'd basically pick and choose what we want from the box.

Here's what came this month!**

Fruit Stickers
For me, these were probably the most excitable thing in the box, as I'm wanting to take up journaling most days, or whenever I do something worth Journaling about. And these are so cute! They are puffy and there is various types of fruit on there, such as Kiwi, Grape, Banana, Tomato, Rockmelon and Strawberry just to name a few.

Watermelon Coin Purse
This is so damn cute and I'm not quite sure what to put in it. I may possibly clip it onto my bag as it came with a clasp.

Happy Animals Coin Purse
I actually kept this to put my lipsticks in. Its just big enough to fit a Colour Pop Lippie Stick in which is perfect. The pattern is on both sides.

'Elephant' Keychain
This is probably the only item my sister and I were dissapointed in. As you can see in the photo (My sisters hand, ta Shae) you can see where his little hands were glued. Not only that, on the back there is a hole. Not too big so he can actually be sewn up. But my sister and I both agree that he doesn't look like an Elephant, more like an Anteater or something.

Cotton Candy Pen
This pen has taken over the position of all the other pens I've been using. I'm not used to writing with it as it is 0.5mm thick, which isn't standard. But I love it. It replaces the dull boring plain pens I use on a regular basis - and trust me I'm always writing about something, with something fun!

Fresh Fan
Umm. My sister and I don't quite know what to do with this one. A; We don't use fans, and B; who does these days?

Cute Pom Pom Bow
My sister had dibs on this once she saw it. She is going to see Melanie Martinez in August, and if you know of Melanie, this bow is so her style. So Shae is putting this aside to wear over in Melbourne.

Plastic Bear
This bear is so boring to look at, but yet so cute at the same time.

Cute Mirror
I've replaced the dull mirror in my bag with this cute one. I have no idea whats on the cover of it, all I know is that it reminds me of milk.

Ice Cream Charm
This charm is so soft! and the detailing on it is seriously amazing that it looks real.

GLITTER
I'm a craft junkie, and I use glitter all the time (I bleed it.) So to see these cute small bottles of glitter made me happy, and once I set up my art room these will be put to good use.

**We got chocolate teddies too but we ate them....**

Lust Have It June 2016

This months bag was mainly skincare based, and though I'm not upset by that, I'm upset by the fact that we got a pretty crap amount of products this month. All products apart from the makeup item were 'deluxe sized' and I don't think this bag was really worth it in my opinion. But heres what I got.

ETC - Edgy Tempting Cosmetics Eyeliner Pen in Grey Blue
So this is the main full size item we got, and I'm not going to use it. I'm picky with my eyeliners and I can tell by looking at them if its going to be creamy, or rough (I've had many years experience with my eyeliner, as I went through an 'emo' phase and wore liner for 2 years straight.) and I can tell by looking at it, its going to be rough. It doesn't look like a fancy brand either, looks like a cheap chemist brand. So I'll be donating this to work next Monday.
Full Size. Retails for $15

Sasy N Savy Peppermint N Rosemary Revive Bath N Shower Gel
THIS SMELLS SOOOO GOOD. Holy cow! I can't wait to use this, probably the only item I am looking forward to using out of the whole thing. I have used Sasy N Savy in the past, can't remember what I thought of the brand though as its probably over a year ago.
Deluxe Size.
Full Size Retails for $35

Neutrogena Deep Clean Exfoliator
I used this ages ago before they changed the formula, it was okay. Not something I'd repurchase though. The new formula might be different so I will be using this.
Deluxe Size
Full Size Retails For $12.99

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes
If you have been following my blog for a while you would know these use to be my holy grail wipes, but I've now moved on from them. I went to use them 10 minutes ago, and this packet is 100% dried out. Not happy. Especially when I have no other way of removing my makeup right now and I have to sleep on white pillows. Cool.
Deluxe Size (I believe you can get these at Chemist Warehouse for like $4)
Full Size Retails For: $12.99

BONUS ITEM
Paula's Choice Resist Intensive Wrinkle Repair Retinol Serum
As soon as I pulled this out of the bag, I knew my Mum would love this. Not only that, this is a pretty good brand. I've never tried it personally, but I hear YouTuber's talk about it all the time.
This is a trial size, but look at how cute the packaging is!
I tried to do some research on how much this would cost. A sample (Which is less than 7ml) is $2 on their site. And the full size (which is 30ml) is $57 So I'm guessing this size would be maybe $10. I'd have no clue though.
