Melbourne Shopping Trip!

Yesterday, my Mum and I booked a pretty special shopping trip together.

A shopping trip to Melbourne.

Must say I'm pretty stoked about it.

But I have a few month to save as we are not going until October.

So I'm putting myself on another makeup ban, unless I need to buy something. Cause lets be honest, I don't really need anything.

I have bought A LOT of products in the last month - yes I have got a mini haul coming (Mini haul because most of the stuff is at Mum's and I'm staying at Dads.)

So posts may be a little all over the place and I might not have much to review. But I am about to go through my products and see what I havent reviewed. Even if the product is kinda old and not new.

But. The main point of this post is to ask my followers a question. Even though no one hardly comments but whatever. I'm going to these shops. Anywhere else I should check out:

H&M
TopShop
Mecca
Uniqlo
Sephora
South Wharf DFO

Sleek Vintage Romance Palette Review

Sleek Makeup hit Target stores in Australia earlier this year, and my first purchase was the iDivine Palette in the Shade 'Vintage Romance'. I mainly decided to purchase this particular palette mainly because it had some burgundy shades inside of it and I don't own many darker, burgundy shades. So I wanted something different.

The inside of the palette is gorgeous. It has a mix of mattes, and frost finishes. I did do some research on this palette so I could actually describe the shades (Because lets face it, I'm pretty crap at doing so.) There is also a total of 12 shades in the palette.

The palette is Mineral Based, as are the other Sleek palettes.

And I must say they are amazing quality for a drugstore palette. (I would count 'theBalm' as Drugstore, but Drugstore to me is basically $30 and under)

Starting from the bottom going up (Top row to bottom row)

Pretty in Paris: Light Silver Frost Finish

Meet in Madrid: Gold with Orange and Yellow undertones, Frost Finish

Court in Cannes: Warm toned Brown with a Gold Sheen, Frost Finish

Lust in LA: Chocolate Brown with a Reddish undertone, Frosted Finish (Don't know why it looks Olive in swatch)

Romance in Rome: Dark Purple - I personally think it may have some blue tones in it too, as to me its more Navy than Purple. Frosted Finish.

Propose in Prague: Medium-Dark Brown, with warm reddish Orange undertones, Matte finish.

A Vow in Venice: Medium to Dark Berry with Warm Undertones, Frosted Finish.

Marry in Monte Carlo: Bright Medium - Dark Fuchsia Berry, Frosted Finish.

Honeymoon in Hollywood: Deep Berry Wine, Satin Finish.

Bliss in Barcelona: Medium - Dark Cool toned Violet, Frosted Finish.

Forever in Florence: Dark Burgundy with Cool Red Undertones, Matte finish.

Love in London: Black with Satin Finish.

The palette retails for $19.95 at Selected Target Stores.

Trilogy Rose Hip Oil Review

So recently I decided to add Rose Hip Oil to my skincare routine as I have so much redness from acne scarring, and after watching Shaaanxo's Vlogs, I decided to check out Rose Hip Oil.

I personally don't know much about Rose Hip Oil, but I do know its good for fading redness and repairing and nourishing the skin.

I have noticed since using it that my redness has certainly gone down a dramatic amount, and my skin just feels so much better.

I use 3 drops (Cause I have a huge round face), apply it to my face, mainly focusing on my cheeks and nose, then leave it to sink into my skin for about a minute, then follow up with moisturiser.

Review: Shaaanxo x BH Cosmetics Palette Review + Swatches

Today I am bringing you all a review on the Shaaanxo x BH Cosmetics Palette.

This palette has only been out for the past month, and from what I have found there aren't too many reviews on this product.

Who is Shaaanxo you ask? Well Shannon is a New Zealand Beauty YouTuber with a subscriber count of 2million +. She is honestly one of the most dedicated YouTubers with this subscriber count as she works her butt off to post 3 times a week, and also on her Vlog Channel (ShaaanxoVlogs)

Anyway, onto the Palette.

The packaging is pink, with white circles, The white circles describe the fairy lights she has in the background of, pretty much all her videos. Its kind of her signature look.

The packaging is also One Of A Kind on the BH Cosmetics website. It is their first palette to be double sided.

One Side is the Lipstick Side - I will not be reviewing this side as I have too many lipsticks too similar to this and I don't see myself reaching for this side. But from research they are pigmented and creamy. You can watch Shannon's video on her channel (Which I cannot link because I have very slow internet) Where she lip swatches all the shades and describes it in full.

The other side is the eyeshadow palette. I will go more into detail on this side soon.

Each of the 2 sides both contain a mirror, and Shaaanxo signature.

What I have also noticed is that the Lipstick side is more red-pink whereas the eyeshadow side is more white-pink. So you can tell which side is which. Incase you can't, it says on the outside of the palette on each side.

As I said, I won't be reviewing the lipstick side, but here is another photo of it. Some of the colours in the palette include a Nude, a Pinky-Nude, a Coral, a Red, a Hot Pink, a Wine and a darker winey vampy colour. (I cannot describe shades much but i tried okay?)

The eyeshadow side I love.

Though when I first swatched it, it wasn't what I expected. I think I had my hopes set too high.

It also may have been because, I don't know, but you know how there is usually a coating on new shadows and sometimes it takes a while to go through that filter? Thats what it felt like to me.

But lets talk about the scent. It smells STRONGLY of Talc (Baby Powder) and what is the first ingredient on the sheet? Talc. So if you are sensitive to scents or allergic to Talc, I would not recommend.

Once I got through the first few coats, the palette is quite pigmented. and is even more magical with Fix + From MAC.

The palette consists of 9 Neutral Shades. 3 Matte, 5 Shimmer and 1 Duo Chrome.

Lets talk about the shades starting at top left and going across.

First we have that perfect matte brow bone, or all over lid colour.

Then a perfect champagne shade, which Shannon said is a lovely highlight shade and I agree.

Then a more rosey toned champagne shade. (This one is my favorite right now)

Then a matte mustard shade, which Shannon said is great in the crease. I use this as a crease base shade.

Then a nice neutral shimmery brown shade.

Then a matte brown, which is similar to Cocoa Bear by Makeup Geek (Which I don't own. So don't quote me on this)

Then a dark shimmery brown.

Then the beautiful duo chrome shade, which to me looks similar to Blue/Brown pigment by MAC.

And finally, a slightly shimmery, slightly matte, dark brown, almost black shade.

Here are swatches of the palette in fresh daylight.

And here is a look I created using the palette (Don't mind the brows I need to pluck them badly!)
Lips are ColourPop Lumiere 2.

Overall would I recommend this palette: Yes and No. Its a great palette, but it all depends on your personal taste. There are higher end palettes out there, and you can probably buy all the shades similar to this.

Lust Have It! April 2016

So, I just got my April LHI and I'm needless to say, I was not impressed.

Not that this is a bad box or anything, I just don't see myself using any of the products in here as I have products way to similar to these or its just not for me.

First off these Soak Shampoo and Conditioners. One is for giving dull hair shine, and the other is for reviving dull hair. It will do nothing for mine as I have a dry scalp and its just not good enough to put on my hair that overreacts to anything.

These sound good. This is the Personail Glamour Nail Polish Strips. And I'm thinking of giving them a go, but knowing me, I'll get frustrated and end up putting them in the bin. They are a Ivory with Lace Detail. These retail for $18

Both of these I'm not going to use. They are both by the brand Marsk. Top one is a basic white eyeliner. Its very creamy, I just don't like to wear white on my lower lash line. The other is an eyebrow pencil, right colour, I just don't fill in my brows. These both retail for $28.95

Lastly is a Manna Kadar Beauty Highlight, Blush and Eyeshadow 3 in 1. And it is CERTAINLY not a blush or highlight. Its too shimmery to be a blush, and too dark on my skintone to be a highlight.
