2015 Beauty Favourites

Hey guys.

No photos in todays post as there is just going to be way too many things to type and there is a limit as to what you can have in each post AND cause I'm just too lazy to take photos.

One of my aims this year is to start sharing favourites. And that includes monthly favourites. So I'm starting 2016 off with a bang sharing some of my Beauty favourites of 2015. These are all items that I would repurchase and do recommend.

Eyeshadows

2015 was all about eyeshadows in my opinion. I spent way too much money on various eyeshadows, and I think I'm going to kick back the amount I spend on them in 2016.

My favourite eyeshadow palette all the way up to November was the original Naked palette by Urban Decay. I have had the second, and a dupe for the third, but got rid of them as the Naked palette was the one I always reached for. I love the shades they are so pigmented and its also perfect for travelling as there is everything in there. From a subtle everyday look, to a dramatic night time look.

My Holy Grail crease colour this year was Natural Collection's Milk Chocolate shade. Its very similar to - I think it's naked from the Naked palette. I hit pan on it in 2015 and I would repurchase in the future online

As a base for my shadows from September onwards I used Mac's Soft Ochre Paint Pot and Oh My Gosh, I haven't found anything better than this. I have done a review on this I believe, if not I have one coming. But its something I will repurchase when I'm done with it.

ColourPop Shadows. What can I say. Total game changer. I easily spent about $70AU on them in 2015 and I'm probably going to spend the same amount on them this year. They are incredible. I'm about to place another order as a matter of fact.

From November to December my favourite Palette was the Kat Von D Monarch Palette. Its a beautiful warm, Autumn palette, and like the Naked its perfect for day and night looks. I love the pigmentation and I want more of her palettes.

Foundations

I loved the Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous this year, I discovered it after I finished up my Revlon Colourstay and they are basically the same thing. The only thing is the Covergirl one is a teeny bit too dark for me but it works still. I will repurchase both these foundations but more so the Covergirl one as it is like $15 cheaper than the Revlon one.

Mascara

This one is easy. Maybelline Lash Sensational. It blew me away. It seperates, it lengthens. Its just incredible.

Powders

One powder I finally decided to try after hearing raving reviews was the Rimmel Stay Matte. I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me and now I love it and have hit pan on it in under 4 months.

I also jumped on the Banana Powder bandwagon. I'm using the banana powder from the AC ON TOUR palette and its the only shade I use.

Eyeliners

Maybelline's Hyper Sharp Wing has become my favourite liquid liner as its so thin an precise.

Rimmel's Scandal Eyes line is so rich and creamy and it lasts. Its perfect for the waterline.

LipLiner

Essence lipliner in Satin Mauve is my favourite to pair with Lumiere, and Ofra's Wine Lipliner is my favourite to pair with a natural pink lip.

Blush

Maybelline (I can't remember the name and its faded away) Mauve blush is my favourite everyday Blush for the winter and Benefit's Hervana has been my favourite everyday blush in the summer.

Primer

I got into primer as soon as Maybelline released Baby Skin. I love Baby Skin so much and I have a backup.

Its a great dupe for Benefit's Porefessional but I only have a few samples I got from beauty boxes and I can't bring myself to buy the full size, yet.

Lips

Innoxa Full Cream Lip Colour in Red Rose is my favourite red. Hydrating, moisturising. Wonderful.

ColourPop Lumiere OMG. Just amazing. Everyone needs it.

Mac Mehr, yes I've only used it 5 times but I love it to death. Its my everyday nude shade.

Chi Chi's Checkin In Has become my new daily nude. As I'm liking the matte look, not satin.

Midi by ColourPop is my favourite nude matte lip. Its not tacky and feels like you have nothing on.

Australis' Shang-Hai and Mel-Burn have become my favourites, not so much for everyday, but for the occasional day.

Skincare

Out of all the skincare items I have tried this year, my favourite brand has to be Real-U. They are amazing, and don't cause my skin any harm.
