Lets start off with the packaging. I love the packaging personally. Its not bulky, its really slim which makes it hell easy to store as it won't take up that much room. It comes in a white slim pen like, container I guess you'd call it? With the words ColourPop Lippie Six in a silver, almost holographic writing. The shade name is always listed on the bottom of the stick.
When you take off the lid you are faced with a slanted applicator, which I also quite like because it makes the application of the lipstick a total breeze. The shades are all pretty true to colour and are very pigmented.
Heres a swatch of the three shades I had at the time. From top, Frida (Made by CoffeeBreakWithDani), Westie and Lumiere (Created by Kathleen Lights)
I cannot recall off the top of my head the exact formulas but I do know that Lumiere is a Matte Finish.
Matte Finishes are by far my favourite in the Lippie Stix range. They don't try to a complete matte finish, but don't wear off.
Lumiere is also my favourite shade I own. I'm actually considering buying a back up as I do believe this is a limited edition. On the site Kathleen describes the colour to be a 'dusty mauve pink'. I agree with that and I also like to call it a berry toned nude. As if you swatch it next to a berry shade, its like a match made in heaven.
Compared to the standard lipstick (Lets use Rimmel Kate Moss as an example) There is not much product, which I don't mind because I don't - well I've never used a full lipstick up in my life. I'm not sure how much is in the lipstick but all the website gives me is that there is only 1oz.
I would reccomend the ColourPop Lippie Stix to anyone who is considering buying something from ColourPop. They retail for $5 each and most of them have a matching pencil in the exact same colour (This does not go for all Lippie Stix.)
