Hey Beauties,
So I'm sitting here, feeling like utter poop, and I decided I might as well do a blog post on a recent purchase of mine, the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette.
I purchased the palette from the Glenorchy Market for $15 - And before you say "Its not the real thing" - I'm 100% aware of it. I had a good look at the palette before I purchased it and it seemed pretty legit to me but I know it still isn't.
The packaging comes in a tin, much like the ones you store your pencils in for school. It seals nicely and once opened, it does not shut (Unless forced to. Its hard to describe when you are sick oh my gosh)
Excuse the fingerprints LOL but inside it comes with a full length mirror, which I'm not a fan of because I have to hold it real close to my face to apply the shadows, so I don't like the mirror, but I didn't buy it for the mirror so it doesn't matter. It comes with 12 eye shadows and a double ended eyeshadow/blending brush.
The shadows (Starting from bottom to top) are; Foxy, Half Baked, Bootycall, Chopper, Tease, Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted and Blackout. What I love most about this palette is that it comes with a Matte Black and its very hard to find palettes with a matte Black. All of the colours are pigmented, in this photo no eyeshadow primer was used.
The brush that came with the palette is amazing. Its double ended and has an eyeshadow brush and a blending/crease brush.
This is a look I created using the palette, I used no eyeshadow primer. For my browbone I applied Bootycall, then I applied Chopper to the lid and in the centre of the lid I applied Half Baked which gave it a golden glow. In the crease using the blending side of the brush I applied Snakebite and in the V-Crease I applied Blackout.
I'm sorry that this post wasn't as great as the others. I'm feeling real flu-y today and I've had barely any sleep. I'm hoping to be okay for the weekend when Nyx opens in Tasmania.
I hope you've all had a lovely day, keep smiling.

Aw I hope you feel better soon! Even if it is a fakey, it's still nice! xx
ReplyDeleteIt's impressive how it looks exactly the same as the original one, and for the price...I think it's really worth it, since the colours seem really pigmented.
